Former Ennis sports star arrested

[SIZE=-1]A 2006 Ennis graduate and Missouri State student who had great success on the Lions football team has found himself in a jail cell on multiple charges, including burglary of a habitation, burglary of a coin operated machine, possession of marijuana more than four ounces, unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of a controlled substance.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]Ryan Christopher Marinez, 21, was taken into custody Friday morning after an Ellis County Sheriffs Office deputy stopped Marinezs vehicle outside Waxahachie in connection with a burglary earlier in the day in Ennis. [...][/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]The stolen property, which consisted of two pit bulldogs and heaters, was recovered and returned to its owner.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=-1]A search of Marinezs vehicle resulted in police finding a 9 mm handgun, eight bottles of steroids, more than four ounces of marijuana, ammunition and $545 in cash. Hopson said police also located a large amount of coins officers believe to be taken from a carwash vacuum-cleaning machine.[/SIZE]
