Hi Guys,

Been following the forum for a while now, thought i could use some advise and help on my diet before starting gear.

Stats:

Training for 2 years
21 Years old
5ft 9
72.5 KG roughly 11 Stone 6

Bench 80kg
Deadlift 130Kg

Would it be best to post my questions about diet and gear on this thread or another?

Cheers x

Let's talk about diet first your 5'9 about 160 lb at 21 years old

How much did you weigh BEFORE you started lifting?

I ask because if your diet isn't right naturally cycling won't make a huge dent in your goals

When i started lifting i was around 10 stone, up until 6-7 months ago i weighed at about 10 stone 10 and couldnt get it any higher. I changed my diet up and ate more to get it to where it is now. However i feel stuck at the minute, trying to put on lean muscle without fat.

Ok, assuming you eat this everyday your simply not eating enough. If your not gaining weight then up your cals. The formula is that simple. I'm assuming here your naturally a skinny guy? Judging by your stats you gave I think that's accurate.

I'll make a simple suggestion and start from the bottom. Do you like milk? Can you digest it? If so add a gallon a day preferably whole milk. It's a tall order at first but start trying to do half a gallon. Then increase as you handle more. That's 3.8 L ;)

The added calories and protein from the milk will more than pack on size. It's my prized weapon for bulking. Moo moo motherfucker

Hahahaha.

Yeah i am naturally skinny.

Cheers for the suggestion, quite like milk so ill give this a go!

I understand i need to eat more but i just dont know what else to eat. Something that isnt expensive , and doesnt take long to make as im in an office 8 hours a day sat on my backside!

Then milk sounds perfect. Here in the US it's cheap about $2.60/ gallon. Don't get much cheaper than that. Put it in your shakes instead of water. Have it before bed. Drink it with every meal. You should be putting weight on every week like that.
