I have a question about fructose and how it effects the body. I always thought it was pretty harmless and didnt effect you or your hormone levels like table sugar. I try and eat at least 8-10 pieces of fruit a day. One of my relatives just switched doctors and he's diabetic. The new doctor told him to stay away from all fruit because that can affect you insulin levels. He was suprised and I was too. My family has a history of diabeties and I try and steer clear of anything that would predispose me to this disorder. Any advice to this subject. I always thought that multiple servings of fruit is one of the most healthiest things for the body.
