So haven't been able to do shit for a few weeks now due to West Nile. Apparently If been working with it for awhile, but wound up dealing with encephalitis.

Fucking worst pain I've felt in my life, by the by.

But that subsided about a week ago, and just been dealing with gnarly flu type muscle / tendon pain and nausea since. Neck has been killing.

Some vision issues.

Went for a short walk yesterday, maybe six miles is all, and it fucking knocked me out. Couldn't take another day not doing shit though and hit the gym tonight.

Holy fuck.

Everything felt heavy as shit, highest I could take my bench was 205 for doubles. Knew I wouldn't be getting in my usual work-out...but damn.

This shit can last for weeks / months to boot. Wondering if switching up to a straight bodybuilding focus might be appropriate here.

Went higher rep and got a crazy pump. But feel totally unsatisfied at the same time.

Blargh, this shit needs to go the fuck away.

I had a doctor client get West Nile and he was unable to go back to work ever again. He was a surgeon. I'm not very familiar with the disease but it can definitely fuck your world up. I'm really sorry to hear about this brother that sucks.

Damn, did it mess with his vision? Cause I could see how the spots would make surgery an absolute nightmare.

Most people are apparently asymptomatic. But I guess I'm all about the go big or go home.

Definitely blows, but life keeps going either way.

That said, y'all need to watch standing water and deet the fuck outta yourselves and families. Couldn't imagine having to watch a little one or the old lady have to deal with this shit.

Light ass work-out hit me harder than regular work-outs with pneumonia in both my lungs. No good.

It was his central nervous system. He was unable to use his hands for delicate operations after West Nile. Not sure about the vision, I'll have to ask when I see him.
