Getting really depressed over training motivation.

I listen to motivational speeches off of YouTube even if it's not lifting related like tony robins stuff or Eric Thomas both really good to listen to. Also try something totally different so you can learn and progress again. I absolutely love powerlifting but it's so monotonous to me now especially cause my lifts improve maybe 5lb in a 3 month time period, there's still passion but if it's all I did I wouldn't be lifting anymore. Try Olympic lifting and humble yourself with 95lb snatch, try and work on mobility and take flexibility as a challenge to become better, do yoga with your woman she'd love that shit and you'd get to look at a lot of butts. I recently took up rockclimbing as my off season sport and the progression that comes with that makes me juiced to go to the gym to get stronger so I can climb things better.

Good points bro.

Good stuff, all of it. Im going through the same thing right now. I haven't been regularly on here for a week or so and actually logged on to try and find some motivation suggestions and advice.

After a couple decades it becomes tough becaise you know what you've done before and you wonder if you can ever get that back.

You need to change your goals. I would focus on lifting lighter and strictly going for a good pump and sweating it out. I've been there, several times. Once you get back into it then your whole mindframe will shift

That's what I did after I took a 4 year hiatus after getting severely injured in a fall back in '02. That was a long long grind for me.

I seriously know where you're at right now. You ever get to that point when you begin reevaluating your life and it's difficult to focus on anything good when you're not in the gym?? It's like the force to pull you away from it seems stronger than the motivation to do it.

It's Benn said before here, just force yourself to go and let the rest take care of itself

I know a guy who has a wife dying from cancer. He has to take care of his kids, his wife, and try to bring home a paycheck when all he wants to do is spend time with his wife before she goes. That's some tough shit there, it made me realize that I dont have it that bad no matter what I'm going through, not compared to that stuff!!!!

The fuck!? Tell me more.

Right? Love a good assault story. I'm guessing that's where the facial disfigurement came from?

Here the posts. Read between the lines and remember he is a lying sack of shit!

I myself had a head injury as well as a hairline fracture in my neck as falling 3 stories from my deck while moving a heavy grill by myself and on impact my head bounced off the packed dirt. Still have slight weakness on my right side too.

Ya I am lucky thanks very much as my neighbor was a RI state cop and he saw me fall...and my mom fainting. Got to hospital in record time. Spent months in therapy as well as being lucky to still draw my paychecks.

Why would a deck 3 stories high not have railing? His mom pushed him.

Yeah, I have to disagree. I feel it may have been a group of local fathers with elementary age kids. Or maybe youre correct. Id throw my kid off a 3rd story balcony for doing what mindless did.

This took a strange turn. At first I realized someone bumped an old thread and then i look to see why it got bumped and all of a sudden Mindless’ Mom spinning roundhouse kicks him in the face. As Mindless does 2 back flips in midair (all while unconscious) and lands on his face. His vision is blurry but before he blacks out he sees the silhouette of his Mom looking down on him from the deck above getting ready to flying knee him directly in the ballsack. She’s shaking her head back and forth in disgust as she looks down at the pervert she’s come to call son and the broken strap on laying uselessly next to him.

Ok, now someone else pick up the story where i left off. New game, GO!
