Hi everyone. I have never been on a cycle before but I am considering it because I want to compete in the future. I am 45 female. I had some androgel several years ago but it made me break out so I quit it and wasn't motivated to work out during that time anyway. I am now and very focused to accomplish my goals and I am ready to take my bod to the next level.

Honestly, I am totally lost as what to do and how to get started. lol. Sorry for my ignorance but I don't know anyone with experience in my town. I am wondering first...Am I too old to get on a cycle? I don't feel old and I work hard in they gym but I can't seem to shed fat even though I have adjusted my diet many times. And muscle growth is slow. I am 5'6" at 133 lbs. I am on a 4 day split upper body lower body. I rarely do long sessions of cardio and prefer to do sprint intervals if I can on my days off from lifting. I take in 2200 cal/day but have cut carbs lately especially on days off from weights to see if this fat goes away. Protein is around 130-150g. I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks daily.
I gain weight up top and rarely gain fat in my legs. Is that a mesomorph? I can't remember. lol. I used to be able to lose fat easily but shit, nowadays it's hanging on for dear life!

Anyway, I want be become informed because I am going to do this either way...just want to know before I proceed. Thanks for any help. :)
 
I'd say you're never too old. but only you and your doctor would really be able to say either way.

What are your goals? Maybe post a pic of what u want to look like. maybe start out researching anavar. it really just depends what sides u are willing to deal with. anavar seems to have very little sides for women.

Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in. Good luck !!
 
I want to compete next year. That gives me some time to add some mass from now until then. I added a pic of what I want to achieve.

My wife and I have talked about her taking something so I've looked around a little. Pretty much the only "safe" things for a woman are anavar, very low dose testosterone, clen, and winny. Each you would need to research and fugure out if it'll work for you and how to dose.

Anavar seems to be the "most safe". Winny seems ok, but alot of people don't like it because it dries you out too much, to the point of joint pain. Very, very low dose test while monitoring blood work I've heard can be ok from some.

All of this is my opinion from reading online or talking to online friends who have their wife on something, or reading forums like this one. I have no personal experience.
 
Anavar seems to be the most popular. I mentioned it to my doctor and he acted like he's never heard of it.
 
Low dose test? She's better off using low dose primo or eq. Basically dht's that are low on the androgenic scale would be your best bet

I'm not saying low test is something to jump into without research, blood work, more blood work, and a watchful eye on virilization sides, but women do manage it. A friend has had his wife in it for 2 years. Constant eye in blood work and sides.

Wasn't it you that had a thread about primo and bring concerned about fake primo from a supplier? I'm new and get avatars mixed up do maybe it was someone else. Regardless, I haven't researched primo much, but if it's a decent option for women, I'll look into it.

Did you give up on your source thread and decide to just be a "member" again...just slide back into the community?
 
Will have blood work as my doctor keeps check on thyroid levels which are ideal right now.

Why isn't androgel used often? When I was on it, I gained muscle with acne side effects, but it's test, so wouldn't any test cause acne?

That's terrible advice! Don't tell her to run one of the most counterfeited AAS out there without explaining the need to have the product tested beforehand, and the risks involved!

@ILUV2LIFT , If you want to run AAS look into winstrol and secondly anavar. With anavar, at least buy a labmax test and familiarize yourself with how to test it. I think you'd get a lot out of clen or an ECA stack, over AAS at this time.

Also, I wouldn't use any person's physique as your "goal" image... You will never look JUST like them, as we're all built differently. Set a goal look for you body!

I like how you PM me to avoid responding in a thread when I call you out for trying to be a source and a member. You suck at both.
 
You're never too old but before you start using AAs I advice you to have your meal and training plan on point. If not it's really gonna be a ease of cycle and you may just mess up your hormones for no reason.
Can you tell us a little more about your training plan? You say 4 days but I'm curious to hear how you split it and what exercises you're doing.
What's your maintance cals?
I am a strong believer that carbs are important when it comes to building muscle, but you wanna make sure you're getting the right type of carbs at the right time. Ex. Fruits in the AM, and complex carbs early in the day and post workout. Your protein intake sounds good. What about your healthy fats?
Anavar is your best option ~10 mgs. Winstrol can induce hairloss and dry joints.
But like I said make sure your training and diet are solid before you start using it.

Devika has solid advice. Diet, training and sleep are key before starting anything. I'm personally a fan of carb cycling for both guys and girls. If you can wrap your head around it it really helps. Just have to make sure to track your cals every day

As for products. My wife got her hands on pharm grade products from a female friend who was a bb competitor. She had everything on point before starting. Results were fantastic.

Typical weight day diet:
Meal 1: pre- workout: 1/2 c quick oats. 1 scoop unflavored whey. 1tbs honey.
Post workout: 8oz orange juice
Meal 2: 1 cod filet. 1c pasta with 1 tsp grapeseed oil. Green beans.
Meal 3: 1-2 scoops whey. Banana. 1tbs organic Cocoa powder. 1tbs ground flax. Sometimes 1 TBS peanut butter
Meal 4: Mexi nights: 1 cup pinto beans whipped. 1 c Seitan. 1-2 oz organic tortilla chips. 1 c spinach chopped. 8 black olives. 2 TBS salsa. 1/2 avocado if I have one. 2 TBS sour cream.
Meal 5: 1 c Fage 0% yogurt. 1 tsp honey. 1/4 c granola with pumpkin seeds.
1 gallon water a day.

Workout: M&TH upper body. T&F lower body.

Supplements are calcium with mag and potassium 1000mg, 1500 mg Arginine, 1000 mg Glutamine and BCAA's in whey.
