GH and IGF-1 cause cancer cell growth... ???

According to this Steroid doctor (whose been around for several years now), GH and IGF1 can cause cancer IF you have cancer cells growing in your body.

What's the word on this... how many BB using both are coming down with Cancer?

Well. If you have cancer..........then you have cancer. GH isn't "causing" anything.

GH does contribute to anabolism

But

Any anabolic function of your body can grow cancer "faster" IF you have cancer.........along with every other cell.

That's what anabolism is. Growth of cells / tissues

The higher your anabolic state, the faster things grow. Everything. Not just cancer.

Food is the most anabolic thing on earth.

He isn't pointing out that eating also increases the rate of cancer growth.

I think this gentleman means well. He is knowledgeable and generally tries to approach things factually. With that if you start to watch his pattern it's very much fear mongering to a large extent. Everything ends in the worst note possible. He would be better received sticking to the middle ground and stating it's a possibility because of XYZ. Most of the discussions I've watched never cover working percentages. Case studies of you will.

This isn't a new claim nor controversial. IGF-1 makes things grow (it's in the name for Chrissake). Cancer cells are things.

I THINK you're right... He sounds sincere, but I think his advice is more for those who abuse GH.
