Giant Semaglutide Thread (and other GLP-1 / GIP agonists)

I don’t know what’s going on, but I’ve developed an almost supernatural love for sweets. It’s honestly a little scary, especially when I walk past a cheesecake at the store. That thing starts whispering to me.

At 6mg of Reta I also noticed increased skin sensitivity and my resting heart rate crept up. In combination with HGH it’s even more noticeable. Funny enough, after adding SS-31 it seemed to drop by about 5 to 7 beats, so that was interesting.

After thinking it through, I’m considering going back to Tirz. Not sure if it’s the “right” move, but we’ll see how it feels. Overall, Reta has definitely been an interesting experiment.
The sweets are absolutely my weakness as well,
I crush a bombpop 3 times a day to keep it at bay they’re only 40 cals lol.
I noticed the skin sensitivity when I jumped up too quickly, not sure if you skipped any levels but when I jumped 6-10 I had the skin sensitivity for a few weeks then went away.

I was NEVER a fan of sweets; I'd only eat them after having eaten something savory. After Reta? I CRAVE sweet things ALL the time now.

@Ghoul sorry for the ping, I have someone she has pcos , I put her onto Reta , she is on it for 4 months she only lost 8/10kg she isn’t overweight she is at 66kg atm, she is vegetarian so her diet is low in kcal, she gets all side effects at any dosage low or high
My question is shall I stop her using Reta(she is at 10mg atm) and switch to tirz to see if is gonna work better ? Or her weight loss difficulty is due to the hormonal unbalance due to her pcos ?
Best regards

I'm surprised you got any benefit from that ss31 dose..

I’ve got a working bro science theory.

My body seems unusually sensitive to most compounds. Test, GH, pretty much anything I run shows up clearly on bloodwork. So maybe ss-31 just happens to register for me even at a lower dose.

No hard data tying it directly to heart rate. Just me observing patterns and trying to connect dots. Pure thoughts out loud.

I've been taking 0.5mg of semaglutide for 3 weeks now, and it's incredibly hard to eat. I feel like there is a rock in my stomach constantly. The only other real side effect is that I have to be very, very careful when working out. I have puked 2x already at the gym from pushing myself too hard. I'm experimenting with ways to mitigate the nausea, but eating beforehand or drinking water seems to be a no-go when working out on this stuff for me. So far, the only thing that helps is going really slow and taking long breaks between sets, and even then, I still feel uncomfortable. The upside is that I completely forget about food, but I cannot imagine eating 200g of protein on this stuff. Thank God I take testosterone or I'd lose a lot of muscle on this stuff... I can't imagine taking this long-term.

You could try zofran. My doctor lets me order some every month. They are dissolvable and act fast. I get nauseous after taking my medications in the morning.

Lower the dose?

You started at 0.5 mg directly or 0.25 mg and increased to 0.5 mg?

The sides will get better. What you are experiencing now is the delayed gastric emptying. There is tachyphylaxis to this delay in a couple weeks.

You screwed up with your first sentence. Sema is aged out and side effect he’ll, and has been, get on Tirz or Reta.

By aged out you mean:
1. Lowest side effect profile
2. Largest user base with strong safety signals
3. Simple mechanism and predictable side effects
4. Most similar to native GLP1 peptide
5. Cheap

I suppose you prefer:
1. Investigational drugs that cause skin sensitivity and adhedonia
2. Unproven drugs that aren't approved for human use yet
3. Expensive

Do you use a GLP ?

Edit : Let me add onto that, do you use PED’s too?

0.25mg first week and titrated up to 0,5mg the second week. I feel fine so far (outside of working out). Do you think CBD would help? THC does wonders, but I don't like getting stoned. Hopefully, you're right about the sides improving.
No they will get worse as the drug builds.
Hopefully you are wrong, haha. I will not be increasing my dosage anymore. unless it stops working. I don't plan to run this for more than 16 weeks anyway.

I would if I could. They are extremely expensive.

Man look what forum this is. Half the stuff we take isn't approved for human usage lol. I don't think everyone buying tren owns cows.
