Glute Injections?

Just wanted to know if anybody can give me a good idea on where you stick in the glute. I have looked at spotinjections its alright but i would like a better description on where you stick in the glute. I have been doing glute injections but i think i am to far up, closer to the hip.

ok bros, i know somebody out there has some advice.

Think of your glute cut into 4 even sections, use a marker if you have to and
you want to hit anywhere in the Top Outer Section.

My wife gives me the injects. Lets see if I can explain it, look at your
ass cheek in the mirror, divide it into four squares (like making a cross),
inject anywhere in the upper outer square, (just not too high that your
getting close to your hip / back area).

Thanks bro, the only reason i am asking because sometimes i hit a vein and i heard that it is hard to hit a vein in the glute so I was thinking that maybe i was to high on the glute. I use a 23g and 1.5 needle for glute injections.

While hitting veins in the glute is tough, it is done from time to time. What pgjy said is right on, or at least how I was taught. Dividide your ass cheek into 4 equal squares. (Right Cheek) Draw a line down the middel of cheek, ass crack being the left border and right edge of cheek being the other border. Now draw a horizontal line accross dividing the cheek into equal halves. Just inject in the upper outer section. Hope this all helps bro.

Yup, same shit, upper outer quarter of glute. I hit a vein this morning, forgot to asparate, must of gone straight thru. When I pulled it out it squirted across the room! (well allmost.) Blood everywhere, my girl friend thought somebody got killed in there.. I said no honey, just your BIG dumb boyfriend fuckin around!! Very unusual for this to happen to me. Glute injects are the safe way to go!!

its not a super exact science...as long as you are hitting muscle you can hit your thigh aswell...and jabbing just in the glutes itsnt the best plan...eventually scar tissue will build up....i hit my glutes, quads, lats, pecs, delts, and on occasion ill put a cc in my bis or traps...
