Go big or go home! First homebrew success

Ordered raws from ST. First brew was a trial of 100ml 250mg/ml deca.

Got the feel for it and immediately dove in head first. 250ml 300mg/ml Test E.

Sterilization method: Socked vials and stoppers in %70 iso and then rinsed with distilled water. Put vials in oven at 390F for 2 hours. Stoppers at 300F for an hour.

Have a glass funnel i thought I needed when i was buying supplies but I just use 10ml syringe with 14gauge 10" blunt tip dispensing needles.

Mct and 2/18 BA/BB for both brews

The fact you had to ask me that, shows people are idiots lol. But yea man i have a big 500ml bottle top filter. How many mls can you run through them before they get slow and clogged? Because ive ran probably 1200ml now and its so damn slow

Yes i figured, but like you said it gets pretty scary when conversing with others.

i dont know with a bigger filter system like that. I syringe filter. I would just ease on the side of caution. It would suck so much more if the filter broke down in the vials, then just buying a new filter.

True, didnt think or that. Will go ahead and grab another. I never use EO or oil over 140F so it should hold up pretty well, but it would suck if it broke down. Can you refilter the dissolved filter through a good filter or is it completely ducked when that happens

So yes if the filter broke off in pieces you can refilter.

but there are other ways it could break down.

what kind of filter material is it?

I would always stick to mct woth just ba and bb. If you used regular concentrations, everything will hold great. I have never had a problem with any compound. I brewed almost every injectable compound. Mct, ba, and bb is great. Thats what i use

Did you research that number 140 degrees from somewhere? Also time is a great way to get a compound to dissolve.

No I didnt get it anywhere, i just figured if i cant touch it, its too hot to go through a filter. But I have bene using mct for everything but tried half and half GSO/MCT last batch of 300mg/ml deca. I fucked up and put my carrier oils and BB together and mixed instead of putting my raws into BB only, adding oils. It wasnt alot but it had what i assume were crystals floating around. Added BB up to 25%(which made my mix like 270mg/ml ) and then ran it back through filter

Looks good.. congrats. It really simple. I started about 3 months ago. I used st as well. Have some raws coming from another source international..price was hard to not give it a test. I prefer mct over everything else. Do you an on sourcing for friends? Those are decent soze brews. Great job man!!

So basically you prefer add raws into BB and after the raw is full dissolved you add oil?

Exactly. It is always way faster. And once its fully dissolved ill add carrier oils and BA last so it doesnt evaporate, especially if im using heat.

Also, with this method ive never waited more than 30 minutes for all of my raws to dissolve. This last batch where I didnt do it, took hours and then i had to add more BB

Shouldnt need any temp but I heat it up maybe 100 degrees. Get the beaker warm to the touch basically, just to speed up the process
