Go time for my first brew... So many Test E recipes hard to pick one

First off sincere gratitude to everyone who posts in the home brew forum. These threads have no doubt saved me time and money getting into brew.

I’ve spent the past month reading every thread here including all 80 pages on brew porn. I want to start very basic and as I get pieces of equipment, advance the technique. So I’ll be syringe filtering using watman 60cc with caulk into sterile vials. I have all the required items and I’m ready to go except I can’t decide which Test E recipe to use.

I’ll be doing MCT, aiming for 300ml 5% overdose. I read I can put 100ml through a Watman syringe filter before it gets slow so I planned on doing 100ml so I’d use one filter.

Over the past month I’ve read so many ba/bb ratios I’m not sure which I should choose and why. I understand what ba-bb do, but I can’t understand why the huge range in bb from like zero to 18.

Your imput is appreciated.

So compounds that are more prone to crashing like Tren A, Test Cyp, NPP require more BB and slightly more BA to keep them in solution.

Compounds like Deca, EQ, and test E can be brewed at higher concentration without crashing.

With Test E you will be fine with 1% BA and 10% BB. Even at 300mg/ml with a 10% od you will be fine.

Also I suggest getting a few 20ml syringes or even 10ml for pushing through a syringe filter. It seems like it would be a pain being a smaller size syringe but it's going to be WAY easier than pushing through a 60ml syringe. And doing just 100ml wouldn't be too bad with a smaller volume of syringe.

So you’ve brewed 1/10 yourself and preferred it to other recipes?

I brew my test e at 250mg without any BB. I always think the more chemicals you can cut out the better. And it never crashes at 250mg.

250mg/ml
MCT or GSO
1%BA/0%BB

This is what I’m talking about. You’re saying zero bb so why are others using so much more???
This is why I’m confused. My understanding is the bb helps hold the powder in solution and can change the viscosity to thin it out. So why use more than the bare minimum?

Have you tried other recipes and prefer this one to those?
Thanks

What @Iron Frenchie said is the best recipe. I brew all my test e without BB.

People add large quantities of BB because they are literally paranoid that the 100 vials of test e they just made could crash. But it’s not necessary.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a home brew vial of test e crash and I’ve never brewed it with BB :)

Yes it does change the viscosity of the liquid making t more thin. But if you are using GSO or MCT as recommended above then it will be thin enough for a 23, 25 or even 27g needle.

Keep the BB for tren a, test p, sust, mast prop and hormones like that.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m only trying to do like 100ml, and I prefer to use less if there’s no good reason to.

Keep it simple
250 mg/ml Test E
1% BA, no BB whatsoever
will also hold at 10% overdose (275 mg/ml)
Is there a downside to bb at reasonable amounts?
All I’ve read is past 20 can cause pain. I ask bc I’d like to hit 300mg to make the dosages I want fit into less pins.

It's going to be thick with no bb. That is why I generally use 15-22% bb. I like to be able to run the oil through 27g easily. Stick with a lower concentration. Less volume of pin won't mean much if you end up getting bad pip from too high mg/ml.

That's why everyone was saying it's okay as long as MCT is your carrier oil.
