Going Hypo

Wasnt sure where to post this, do I figured mens health would be a good section.

Background:
I'm trying to reset my insulin sensitivity via the use of low dose DNP
I'm on week 2 of 100mg per day with a balanced macro list at around 2800 calories (My maintence is 3500) with 300g protein.
I'm doing 5 days on, 2 days off.
I expect to do so for a total of 4 weeks.
Weight loss is secondary in this run, it's mostly to reset insulin sensitivity.
I'm starting Prop at 200mg this week to slingshot into week 5 to experiment with some awesome gains when I stop the DNP

To illustrate this, I just hit 2 PRs on my 1RM, so something is working out well, I'm also looking leaner.

Currently running
200mg Test U
200mg Primo
(Prop is added at 200mg at the end of this week)

Long story short
I've been going Hypo on occasion when I'm doing fast paced work (Not during heavy lifting sessions) only when I'm doing stuff like taping/mudding at s breakneck pace for a few hours.

Usually I slowly get drained and my BG goes down over the course of that time.
Lately, it hits me like a tonne of bricks and within 10 minutes of feeling hypo, if i dont have some sugars i start to sweat and shake.

A quick hit of orange juice and I'm GTG in 10 minutes and back to work.

Is this a good sign of my insulin sensitivity being high?

I broke my BG monitor and I'll have my new one shortly, will begin monitoring on Saturday, but I'm pretty decent at feeling this out.

Might be worth mentioning, I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and autoimmune gastritis.
As such Addisons disease is a VERY distinct possibility... this renal issue could lead to these symptoms as well.... but I'm in Canada and God knows when I'll finally get an appointment with a specialist that understands Autoimmune diseases and renal/hormones/Endocrinology.

Going to tag my Insulin sensitivity/DNP teachers/Chiefs here
@Eman @malfeasance @Demondosage

Thanks all

Just wanted to get some opinions, I'll obviously be monitoring by BG heavily and seeing s doctor, but I've come to respect your opinions more than my Doctors.
Also, in Canada, our doctors just fuck us off, the only way I've ever gotten treatment is when I show up with the ANSWER and the supporting documents.... basically having to force doctors into treating me lol

The insulin sensitivity doesn't really set in until after the DNP has been discontinued. Until then, BG does some strange things while running the DNP.

I react very similarly and it happens to me for several months after stopping the DNP too. My hunger patterns are different too - don't really get hungry as often but, when I do, I need to eat right away.

I would continue as you are with the OJ, I do the exact same thing.

That very accurately describes my current situation lol

I walked out of a meeting with government people last week, I usually sit around and shoot the shit after business is concluded... I literally said.
"Gentlemen, sorry to cut this short... but I need to fucking eat, right now"
But sometimes 8 have issues getting a protein snack into me.
When i need to eat ... its GTFO of my ways its fucking food time.

Good to hear brother
Thanks for the advice... again lol

Hey bro. My buddy was starting to notice his fasted BG was rising into high 5s. So he dropped carbs and cals similar to you and began running berberine 2x a day. Im just relaying so I can't give much more detail than that, but he's been seeing his BG dropping consistently with the berberine. Will it stay dropped after he discontinues use. I have no idea, but if you haven't read into it. Could be worth a read

I'm still eating balanced carbs at the moment, I'm only taking 100mg DNP, so the "Heat" from eating carbs isnt a bug deal at all.
The whole idea is to try to get an insulin fueled growth phase at the end.

I've used Metformin quite a bit before, pretty much anytime I'm on cycle and running high GH
Works well
My issue is my BG is now dropping more than usual.
I'm thinking it's a bit of s good sign, because I was running 4iu GH for quite a while and my BG was creeping up when I stopped a few months ago

Glucose tabs, id have a pocket full, yes oj is great too, but glucose tabs are a life saver especially if in the car etc...

Whats ur insulin level currently? A lot of time ur bg goes down ur pancreas kick starts insulin to a higher level....

Id get some good bw done if u can way up in can a da

yeah I dropped my BG monitor
going to test this weekend and try to do the same shit to myself (Go hypo) and get a reading while I'm all fucked up lol.

Yeah, we have a third world medical system here.
Took me almost a decade to get a Doctor to check my peridoxibase antibodies to check for an autoimmune disease.... that I have all the symptoms for and is hereditary (And my mom has it)
I had to go private medical and pay out of pocket.... lo and behold... my P-antibodies a d thyrodoxibase antibodies were 15x higher than normal..... who would have guessed (Me)

Then trying to convince a doctor to run USABLE B vitamin levels instead of standard (Because I have 2 autoimmune diseases... it doesnt show up in a standard test)... I'm 2 years in and I gave up
I just buy my injectable B from a source here and said fuck it
(Oral B doesnt work for me due to autoimmune gastritis)

Doctors here are fucking useless
I trust guys like @Eman more.

Ince this is all over I'm going to go south and get a full workup done.

What's your acth ? Have you ever done this and have you ever done a cortisol saliva test.

Iv hit a few walls myself over the last 2 years, and it always resorts back to one thing, and what iv found is that testosterone therpy is lowering my acth, giving me less cortisol, therefore causing everything eles to be wores, the shaking your feeling sounds like adrenaline, and this is because there isnt enough cortisol, so adrenaline kicks in.

Of course its natural for testosterone to lower cortisol as thats what its designed to do, but some of us dont get the signal as strong to increse acth, i have noticed that lower testosterone doasges seem to effect my atch and that i typically feel better.

Anyway my thought on this, as well as you should test your dht, low levels of dht can increase your auto immune sensitivity.

This makes a lot of sense as well as my pituitary is pretty shot.
However, I did get a BG reading and it was low during one of those stints
Since my cessation of DNP, I havnt had any issues.

I do think it worthwhile to get bloods like you said though
Appreciate the advice

Are you taking any hcg by any chance? The reason i ask, is because i do not lol i only take pregnenolone, but im finding that , since i no longer have that signal from my lh to my Corticotropin-releasing hormone, then my acth is not firing like it should to produce cortisol. Some may not have this issue, some may , im still investigating.
This could also be a reason for you pituitary issue. Or one.

No HCG usage at the moment.
It's a very valid point
One of my.issues is Hashimoto's has tired out my pituitary, as it took me years for a diagnosis, GH usage and gear use wont have contributed to keeping my pituitary healthy either.

Throw in minor adrenal failure and a plethora of serious concussions..... well I'm surprised I can count to ten without using my fingers lmfao

Ok, well lets keep in touch on this, im gonna run some hcg for the first time, hear in a week ish, i definitely think thats the issue with me, possibly could help you, i currently take adrenal cortex now by thorne to drip feed me some cortisol, the problem is my acth isn't turning on as it should because the signal from crh is week( obviously since my luteinizing hormone is shut off lol)

It all kinda made sense that when i was doing workouts, id feel great, because excercise stimulants your acth, but then when you take a break , your not stimulating it anymore, and then you deplete your circulating cortisol.

I belive this is what threw my thyroid in the shitter as well and im just catching on. Iv had my lh shut down for a long time lol

Weather or not the mimicking effect of hcg is enough to send that signal to crh or not i dunno but ill test it out i guess. Im really not sure what type of lh number ill be able to get .

My anti bodys just took a jump to the 100s so there climbing.

Sorry for opening an older post it just caught my eye, figured only 1 month old lol

I also meant to ask you if you felt better on primo, if so then this may explain the possibility that your low on dht, and that by increasing dht you get an auto immune helping boost. Obviously this all connects to hypo/and insulin etc

I'll get checked on my.nezt appointment as well

Definitely felt better on the Primo.
Substantially.

Best thing you can do is make adjustments prior to training time to avoid going hypo. Maybe switch the preworkout meal up to something like a few packets of flavored oatmeal (yes, the packs with the sugar in them) and a whey iso shake or something. Those oatmeal packets sort of act like a time released carb

Or even honey packets would suffice perhaps?
