Going to start brewing soon...Help me.

So I decided to try to start brewing and would like any help you guys can give me. I'm going to brew 40ml/100ml Primo and 50ml/100ml NPP. I know these are not good compounds to try to brew for a noob but I dont really need any other compounds atm so I want to get these instead. Shouldnt be too much different according to the process anyway.

So far I ordered a 100ml beaker, 500ml beaker, 50ml graduated cylinder, glass stir rods.
I have a food scale that reads ML but I dont know if i can use this cus it might be a lil to big to read powders? Should I get a smaller one? Other things I have in cart are gso oil, BA, BB, sterile sealed vials, .22 syringe filter (Female Luer Lock inlet and Male Luer slip outlet), 10ml syringes to filter gear into vials.

I know everybody uses 50ml syringe with a caulking gun but I dont really want to have to use that unless u guys dont think I can fill 5 10ml vials with a 10ml syring and a 18g needle.

Any advice u guys can give me would be great.

Things I'm not sure if I should get

EO oil or some other carrier oil to mix with GSO

It is actually easier to push the plunger on 10 ml syringes than 50/60 ml ones.
Just keep in mind that you'll need to fill vials with 10.5-11 ml so you can effectively draw 10 ml out of them, as some oil adheres to the glass walls and rubber stopper.

For the first vial filled, you'll need to pour a couple extra ml as they are need to fill the filter and needle empty space.

Other than that, 10 ml syringes work fine.

Thanks for the reply but I dont really understand the Bold. How would I do that? I'm kind of confused lol.

Like this?? Say I got my 50ml of gear in the beaker ready to be filtered. Pull 10ml of oil with the sringe, filter into vial, then go back and pull .5-1ml and add it to the same vial?

Wont I have a vial that will have less gear in it ?

Should I get luer lock or slip for the 10ml syringe?

Will 100ml of BB and 30ml of BA be enough for a 100mg/200ml batch?

Most (10 ml) syringes have an extra space behind the 10 ml mark so they can be "overfilled" a bit
such space is usually unmarked, so it's best to grab a ruler to mark where the 11/12 ml mark would be.

Should I get luer lock or slip for the 10ml syringe?
most 10 ml have luer lok, and it holds better the filter
most filters have luer lok on the syringe side, and slip on the needle side.

im lost where your saying yoru going to brew 40ml/100ml and 50ml/100ml, are you doing your going to brew 40ml of primo at 100mg an 50ml of npp at 100mg, brewing primo ace? or e? and with npp, i make my npp perfect smooth and no pip, with 2%ba/18-20%bb with mct oil. even in smaller quanity im not gonna mess with a syring filter. i use .22 zapcaps filters into a media bottle., withstands heat and harsh chemicals, never once have i had a problem with them and it filters it perfect.

Sorry I meant 40ml of 100mg primo and 50ml of 100ml npp.

Should I only get one carrier oil or would it be better to mix 2 together? I was gonna get gso and safflower oil and do like a 50/50 mix.

im a fan of mct oil, never any pip in my gear with it. holds perfect, iill use gso if i need to mix eo, but thats about the only time i use gso

10ml might work but you'll soon realize you want to streamline every step you can to make things easier.

Shit seriously takes forever to filter and fill vials.

I'm patient and have time to waste but really, how long can it take to fill one 10ml vial with a 10ml syringe?

Haha I'm sure that's what everyone says.
It's what I though too with a 60ml.
Your hands just get tired.

Make sure you put a second pin in to let the air out.

Why do you like mct better gso and why do u use gso with eo instead of mct?
Mct is smoother, has anti fungal and anti inflammatory properties. And with eo and gso, it’s for harder to hold high melting point compounds so hold better less likely to crash, thou I’m wondering about safflower oil for this, will have to look into it.

Question about cleaning/sterlizing beakers...

Want to make it easy as possible without having to heat them in my oven and shit. Can u just wipe them down with an alcohol pad then rinse with distilled water?
