Make sure to keep stretching man, every day. You can use some resistance bands too to warm up. Stretching helps circulation and increase blood flow to the muscles so I believe it also helps stimulate the tissue growth after heavy resistance training breaks it down. but...maybe I'm just making shit up in my head
Ya probably should start stretching after. Wouldn't hurt.

I tweaked my right lat trying to configure my monkey arms around to wash my back. This happened just yesterday. I just give up and ask for help. I must looked like one of Jerry's kids in their lol. It was like a pretzel of twisted arm mass
 
I typically do dynamic stretching before my workout, and incorporate things like some walking lunges, skips, karaokes, squat thrusts, jumping jacks, and forward/reverse swims. Then I do my deep static stretches post workout, some days I skip it, and I can always tell I don't recover as quickly. Sounds like a lot but I'm talking maybe 10 mins pre and post workout..

Think about how stoked you were when you first discovered this place, I like excitement and passion, doesn't hurt to have a little estrogen around either.
 
Anyway today is my little mans birthday. He turns 3. Hes the last in the birds nest. Cant believe how time marches on. Hes SO huge, got good genetics. I wanna introduce both my boys to football when they get older. Hopefully the little one will take to it. My older boy doesn't have much interest:(.
 
Wait till he gets a little older and discovers girls, He may look at strength training/athletics different. With all the handle bar mustaches, skinny jeans, and bird like male physiques these days the last of the Neanderthals are cleaning up around here.
They can keep him around to listen to coldplay and talk about feelings, but when he's at work she calls me to get thrown around ;)

My kids have part my genetics... they were meant to drag their knuckles. People call me squatch since high school. I have the natural gait and demeanor reminiscent of past blood line.

My oldest which is soon to be 8 already has a girlfriend, wtf! He got his good genetics from his mother for sure. After all she is one SEXY woman. I could never figure why she settled with me much less stick around 13 yrs

I always pull the "Will you help me wash my back?" line with my wife. It's a good way to get a little shower action :D. But if I asked her to wipe my ass, I would probably end up in divorce court![/
 
Fuck me! Tuesday was pin day so I filtered my usual 2cc, which takes forever, and in hast I jabbed my left quad in the bathroom while sitting on the edge of the tub. Ouch! I didn't have much time and my wife was putting my 3 year old to sleep so I couldn't use the bed as I normally would. My leg muscle didn't relax properly in the way I was sitting and with the quads tense I pinned! I could feel my muscle grab the pin and twist it sideways bending it. I just let go of the needle in an attempt to straighten it out and I watched as the needle mimicked the pulse and twitches of my muscle. Pretty freaky! Needless to sayim pretty sore this morning. Lesson learned ALWAYS RELAX WHEN INJECTING
 
You're lucky. Could have been way worse...I've only had one really bad pin that I thought was an infection. Basically did what you described but on my interior and it ended up bleeding out and created like a large hematoma, at the time I thought it was an infection. Baseball sized lump, extremely painful, at I'm talking walking peg leg at best for several days. No heat or change in size came after the initial swelling so I rode it out and it subsided but damn it was troublesome.
 
Talk about lumps. .. every damn time I pin my ass there's a lump. Lasts 3-4 days. I pin legs now ONLY. Seems to be no problem their. Except for last night, and that's cuz I was in a hurry.
 
Where you at with the adex? You think you are dried out a little now, dropped some of that water?
