Great deal on Libre 3 plus CGMs

Hey everyone,

Lingo just dropped a promotion where you can get 50% off their 2 pack. $45 for 2 14 day sensors. I've been using lingo for the past month and much prefer them over dexcom - the lingo updates your glucose every minute (vrs 5mins with the dexcom) and seems to be more accurate when i put the sensor on my upper glute.

I'm stocking up rn, but if anyone else is already going to be buying - plz use my code: REF-US-GlWyn25O2lE - it'll get you 50% off and also give me 50% off too so i can buy more lmao.

How many can i buy?
2 per email/account?

I think so - the deal only works for the 4 week plan; I already tried making a bunch of fake emails but that didn't work lmao I think they reference the shipping address or billing or something.

Although I ordered one to a buddys house and it worked, and really hoping lingo hooks me up with more discount codes since ik a few people have used my code.

I've ordered two packs so far, I wonder if I can pull off more. My home and my card billing address are different. The cards use a UPS store, which has a suite number, and I can type it differently and it still works. I shipped one to home and one to that address.

Not sure what Im doing wrond by discount code is not working for me

Yo for those of you guys that used the code, did it actually work? and did lingo ship you your products?

Because they have blocked me?? on email after I tried to first inquire about a sensor that died 2 days early - obviously not a big deal and was happy to get another free sensor out of it. Then I asked them why I haven't gotten my discounts from sharing the code and they never responded to either of them, and i can't see any of their previous emails to me, or the emails about their 50% off promotion. Like they are all deleted.

Also I got logged out of my lingo iphone app when it happened, and completely lost connection to a new sensor I put on two days before and can't get it to reconnect. And I sent them an email about that too and have not heard anything.

worked fine for me, used the code and got them delivered.

I was able to place three orders and did receive them. I'm wearing one right now plus my normal Stelo to compare (Dexcom G7 is similar).

Comparing it to the G7/Stelo, I would say, save your money and get the Dexcom units instead. I'll probably write up a full review later, but overall, these fall short with no benefit, in comparison.

Hope you saved pics, that's a real shitty move..

Again as a comparison, over two+ years of use, I've contacted Dexcom half a dozen times. Some failed sensors, and also just some questions. They answer within a day, and failed sensors have been replaced by Fedex two-day every time, no issues. They asked for one back to analyze, and sent a return label.

For the libre 3+, you just submit an online form and they send it out usually the next day. The readings aren't really accurate if you're too lean tho..what I've realized..

I agree 100% with this, it seems that my post meal blood glucose readings will match a finger prick , but as far as FBG forget about it , it’s off by 10 to 15 points or more, and I am currently on my fourth replacement because of sensor malfunction or multiple low readings even after I’ve had a high carb meal, very disappointed

Second sensor died after 8 days...well looks like I'll be burning through these pretty quickly. At least this time around it was more accurate, within 10 mg/dL of the finger poke around 90% (same location, just behind ventro glute injection spot, except on the other leg). Will continue to update as I use up more of these sensors.
Third LinX sensor was accurate as well after calibration, but died after 10 days

Freestyle libre 3+ sensors SUCK!!
I went through 4 of those sensors, not counting replacements, and I have to agree. Wildly inaccurate with no calibration capability, low glucose alarms that can only be muted for 6 hours at a time (waking me up in the middle of the night), and a high failure rate.

I wonder if they really screwed something up in the design or manufacturing process for the 3+ because the Freestyle Libre sensors have a good reputation in general. Perhaps they've started down the path of enshittification to make their investors rich by cutting corners on quality.

The readings aren't really accurate if you're too lean tho..what I've realized..
I've found that the sensor needs to be placed in a spot with some fat, and the back-of-the-arm was too lean of a spot for me at the time. If the filament gets injected into muscle, it doesn't give accurate readings and will often die quickly.
