Seems low on initial reading. What was your pre Gh igf--1 levels? Are you taking any other medications? Do you have any other IGF-1 tests with another GH brand or even pharm grade for that matter?

Where's your GH serum score if you did 10 ius before the draw? You don't need to take extra GH to get an IGF score.

How old are you and are you taking any medications that are liver toxic? Did you pull liver enzymes also? If so, what were your AST/ALT values?

Corticosteroids lower igf1 as well. So much so that when my son was on Flonase the insert said not to give it to him for more than a few days per month because he would stop growing. It wasn't clear as to whether the effect was just on igf1 or the production of growth hormone itself.

Good information. These are the types of things one takes daily without understanding the full scale of possible interactions with PEDS.

ast alt and ggt all fine. no cortico. was told there is way to raise serum with fake stuff and that igf1 was better marker than serum so didn't do serum. ive had other tests all with Chinese none have been through the roof. was lower on serostim but could only afford 2 iu at the time. had some guru iffbb pro on some podcast say that igf score is effected immediately and dose related. also said would affect blood sugar immediately but that came up normal

my wife can usually eat whatever she wants at 3.3 and that has not been the case having her up to 5.

I take omeprazole also last few blood test showing anemic which has never happened so stopped donating blood hope it goes back up.

By lower on serostim are you implying lower each IU rhGH or lower in general which would be normal given the lower dosage? I always look at it as IGF-1 each IU rhGH gained, maybe it would be nice for you to have a history of your blood work and estimate

hows that low? some people (alot) just dont convert igf as well. Still get same benefits though.

i just scored 161 on 9iu a day of seronos serostim. I’ve scored a 398 before on 2iu of Genos. I take igf with a grain of salt.

Yup, your situation is one I have seen many times over the years. It is why IGF is unreliable to me, even on otherwise good responders. Your IGF has been on a steady decline over months.

I just can't figure out wtf causes it. However I do see it A LOT in people in contest prep.

And fwiw 398 on 2iu is really high, so seems like you are all over the place haha

I think he has something going on. What that is? I don't know, but I have seen it before.

Wish I could figure out what causes these bouts of low IGF conversion for some people.
