Heat oil to about 100F. Use a 3 ml syringe and filter through a .20 Whatman. It pushes through really easy. Try it and thank me later.

Hey, not all of us fork tons of money out to make some gear for personal use. Ive used the caulking gun so far on about 4 brews and am surgical with it. Its fast, but can easily blow the filter if you exert any more force than to cause fast drips. I blew one filter out and just scrapped that vial of npp. Pretty happy with the time and money invested to make all my personal gear, that I would no way be able to afford going through a UGL thats doses are random at best.

From what I've been reading, a .45 isn't enough. I'd stick with your .2

Just remember a .45 is better than a BLOWN .22

I'm using a 50ml syringe with 18g needle.

How do caulk guns work? Are there any guides on how to use them.

I've given up filtering for now. I managed to get about 10ml through in an hour.but my hands were killing so I'm pausing untill I find an alternative.

I'm think either learn this caulk gun stuff or try a .45

Slowly with the caulking gun. I haven't done it but I've used caulking guns and they produce a lot of pressure per click. I'd use a slow steady pressure with the gun. It'll save your thumbs but should still take a long time.
