I have never snored before and just started about a month ago. My girl says it's bad. She can't sleep, wears ear plugs but they are hurting her ears, so it's couch city for me.
A few times she says I stop breathing completely and the there is a loud gasp for air. Sleep apnea she says, I thought I was alone but my suspicions could be right after reading your post...might have something to do with the 25 lbs I've put on since DecemberShe says sometimes she catches me snoring while I am awake, just watching TV!
I get up in the night a couple times to take a leak and I always have cotton mouth. I have tried Snore-Aid, Breath Rite nasal strips and others, but no luck. I hope it stops soon, I am about to start cutting and cardio so I think that will improve my sleeping and eliminate the snoring.
WTF is up with this bros...anyone else???
dustoff1 said:If dieting and cutting dont fix the apnea problem, and you dont want surgery, you can buy a thing called a CPAP, I think... It is a mask you wear over your face while you sleep... It provides positive pressure and solves the problem instantly... of course your girl may not like the idea of waking up and seeing you looking like an astronaut....
They are expensive as well, but I am pricing used ones on Ebay... I will get a new mask of course, but a good used one can save you a thousand or more...
