does dut have less side effects for you ?Any of the "heal" stuff is pretty reliable.
Its produced by Healing Pharma.
I used to use HEALPECIA for fin before switching to Dutasteride.

Not sure if Im just an an outlier but dutasteride feels like a sugar pill despite my serum dht being beyond nuked lol. Taking 1mg / day dutasteride. started with 0.5 mg, took 2.5 mg for a couple weeks and now staying on 1 mg.
also on 2.5 mg minoxidil.
Zero side effects, libido great, arguably even better. Only getting some more body hair from the minox.
so dut is the superior to fin, in regards to sides as well as regrowth?

I'm wondering if accutane isn't good for that tooThe sebum that comes out of those pores is rich in DHT because of Type I conversion. It's like spreading DHT cream on your scalp every day.

whats a length of a dut protocol, or is it like you just stay on until your hair is back, , tia
How did that cycle go? For your hair I meanRead through the whole thread - feel for all the brothers out there battling hair loss. I’ve been lucky so far, no issues myself, but I’m starting a new cycle next week that includes Masteron (just 300mg/week).
Taking no chances though - based on everything I’ve read, I’ll be adding 2.5mg of oral minoxidil daily as a preventative move. I’m leaving finasteride out for now, but we’ll see how it goes. Hopefully the minoxidil keeps things solid up top - trying to stay lean and keep the hairline alive!
Hair’s still holding strong - week 5 wrapped up!How did that cycle go? For your hair I mean
Hair’s still holding strong - week 5 wrapped up!
There was a bit of shedding, but nothing dramatic - just the usual “check the pillow twice” routine. I actually dropped minoxidil because it started making me retain water like a sponge, so been off it for 3 weeks now. Still running HGH and GHK, which are supposed to help with hair too (or at least that’s what I tell myself while doing injections with hope in my eyes).
Bottom line: hair’s still here, no panic yet!
Where did you hear that HGH and GHK can help with hair loss?Hair’s still holding strong - week 5 wrapped up!

They help with hair health, but they won’t stop active hair loss.Where did you hear that HGH and GHK can help with hair loss?
This whole hairloss thing is a real nightmare. Going through the "dread shed" period after jumping on oral dutasteride. My hair is falling out to an alarming degree. I understand that this is a normal part of the process as Goul stated before, but it's extremely depressing. Add on top of that the nuking of libido and it's almost unbearable. I have trouble staying hard or even getting hard during sex... I think I'd rather just be bald because what's the point in living like this if you don't feel like a man? I'm still in my 20's I shouldn't have to go through this yet.
Sorry for the rant but people need to be aware of the sides on these things it's not all sunshine and rainbows when you get on these drugs.
I am switching to topical dutasteride and topical minox daily. Has anyone switched to topical and felt alleviation of the libido side effects while still maintaining their hair? Starting to feel a bit hopeless.
I may try RU again if the libido issues don't get better when switching to topical dutasteride. I don't like the idea of using a chemical that hasn't undergone rigorous clinical trials, but it may be a last effort before throwing in the towel. No worries man it's on all of our radars.
I've been using topical minox & RU every night and microneedling for a few minutes once a week. I'll add topical duta at some point (sooner better than later). Still have a good head of hair so this is all "prevention."
Bald always wins the bald vs boner debate for me, but fortunately I haven't had to make that decision [yet].
It's not hopeless!
Are the doses here referring to Dut or Fin?Fighting androgenic alopecia is like a never ending battle against a brush fire slowly burning down your hairline.
The key is consistency and starting with a low dose. If you can manage .5mg / day you'll get the best results, but even half that is significant. .25mg is 75-80% as effective.
Loss will be lessened as soon as you start using.
Within the first month, follicles will "reset" and kick out some old hairs and start growing new, thicker hairs. The "shedding phase". Don't panic.
This is subjective but a good idea of what you can expect:
Regrowth will begin to be visible to you around the 6 month mark (take pics, it can be subtle).
It should be visible to others by around the one year mark.
Hair density and regrowth in bare areas will continue to improve for the next 2-5 years.
Then keep talking it to keep your hair loss to a minimum or potentially stop it altogether.
A bonus is a 70% reduction in the risk of prostate cancer, and it'll also keep your prostate from enlarging, which is almost inevitable over time, slowing urination.
