Hair transplant?

Sorry if wrong forum wasn't sure where to post and usually post here. Thinking about getting a hair transplant and wanted to hear from any of you who has had one. I'm debating on getting it done in the us or turkey. Turkey sketches me out though. Heard theres just a bunch of hair mills there. Bumsteads just got his down there and I think his hairline looks terribly unnatural. If that's what they do for someone with such a high following what would they do for a joe schmoe like me. I live in the new england area and also heard a lot of good places in ny. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I watched some of the German influencer shilling videos for Turkish hair clinics and some (Elithair) look kinda professional to me. But i don't have any comparison to US clinics, so better do your own research. If i get to the point to need one (probably in 3-5 years if i keep taking mast :D), i would probably do it in Turkey.

Thanks man. Yea been hearing they do good jobs for influencers but for regular people they fly through the procedure and have the techs just doing the transplants.

They discuss some interesting stuff about minoxidil! My friend went to Turkey 2 years ago, not in one of the most fancy clinics like that ^ and what Cbum went but to a more average one (not a shady though). To this day he keeps telling me, if he could go back in time he wouldn't do the transplant. First things first, today he looks funny (in my eyes)..that hairline screams that's artificial, like Greg Doucette's just looks unnatural.

The pain he experienced was absurd, they pinned his head 40 times with a pretty large needle for the localized anesthesia.

He was hurting so much he proposed them to put him into general anesthesia but ofc this can't happen. 8 hours laying on your stomach unable to move while doing the procedure..and he's not some pussy ass kiddo, he's advanced MMA fighter and can bear a lot of pain.

First 2 weeks he was swollen with severe headaches, unable to sleep and bath properly.. Now he's pleased with the outcome but if i was him i was still worry not lose the rest of the hair because all that suffering and money are going to waste. And he doesn't do steroids, so i think i couldn't run cycles and not be paranoid about hair loss despite protective measures like finasteride minoxidil etc. I'm in the same situation give or take, i have some receeding in front and thinning on top but i'm not gonna go that route. If minoxidil and RU can't help me then i'll embrace the baldness.

I had mine done at Suzermed in Turkey. Absolutely incredible. It cost me £2800 all in which included fights, 3 nights in a 4 star hotel and all transfers from the airport and to the hospital every day + back to the airport. They arranged everything other than fights. The same procedure in the UK costs £8-12,000.

Can’t recommend them high enough. It totally changed my life. Only regret was not doing it sooner.

I had a what’s app liaison who was the manager and the communication was great. The hospital was a private hospital and extremely high end. It just felt really high end.

It took 3 hours to remove the follicles and 3 hours to plant them back. I think I had 3000. The only pain for me was the initial injections around the ears to numb the head. There was about 6 people doing the procedure with the head surgeon overseeing everything. I took some zopiclone and tramadol with me so post op sleep and pain wasn’t an issue. I felt none tbh. Nothing.

I take 1mg of Finasteride EOD. As long as I do this, I shouldn’t lose anymore hair.

Like I said, it changed my life. I had it age 35 and suffered from anxiety and lack of confidence for around 4 years before pulling the trigger.
