hair transplants and AAS usage

Hey guys - I have a hair transplant scheduled a month from now - big mid life crisis gift to myself haha

I'm currently running 350mg/wk Test on bulk, final 8 weeks with 20mg/day Anavar...

I will be taking 4 weeks off all injections as per my surgeons request, starting a couple days before surgery..
Then back on to my usual 120mg/week cruise until Xmas time

I'm doing a cut during my healing time, so adding GH, Reta, and BPC-157 to help heal the scalp up

I'm curious if going back on a blast after 3 months is to early? I planned to run test 500mg/wk with 250mg/wk primo starting in January....

But curious if anyone else has done this, and perhaps its a bit early to bombard my hair follicles??
I'm not crazy bald by any means now, just the receding hair line, so the HT will bring that back foreward, and slightly thin through the middle and crown.
Min/Fin have brought back a bunch already in 4 months of use... So i'm somewhat confident i can recoup time lost with those two adjuncts....

Anyway, thoughts anyone?

I have the same question. I'm thinking I'm going in March or every maybe April to Turkey. I Don't have it scheduled yet but I'm hoping anybody that can provide atruce some advice. It will help me aswell.
Not to get off topic but are you getting your hair transplant done in the US?

Hey guys.

Yah I had the surgery Sept 25.
I chose to go to Tijuana Mexico instead of turkey, because I live on the west coast of Canada.
So the flight was 3 hours instead of 23 hours, and cost $300 vs $2200
There a couple great surgeons in Tijuana, and the experience was more or less the same as you would expect in Turkey.

The procedure itself was about 8 hours, and I was at the clinic about 12 hours total… long day.
They fed me two meals and took care of everything for me.

If you have any specific questions, I’m happy to share my experience

In just over 3 months from the procedure and my new hairs are coming in nicely, slow and steady… the first two months look like hell, and can be a bit worrying to be honest, but looks like everything is coming together now.

A few things changed since I wrote the post, small details.
I’m running 0.5mg Dutasteride oral, M/W/F, and 2.5mg minoxidil daily.
I also use a topical Dut/Min nightly for extra gains.
I haven’t had any noticeable side effects from the meds other then hair thickness.

And I did follow through on my cycle after 3 months.
Currently running 200mg test 400mg primo 0.7mg e2 per week.
No hair shedding issues at all and feeling great about everything

fucking a dude sounds like it was nothing but a giant win. im happy to hear that. idk if ill end up losing my hair. im 33 with no signs of recession or thinning ....but the thought of it going with no recourse makes me legitimately depressed so i was curious how it went for you, so i could keep it in mind for myself.

did it hurt at all? did you go to any donkey shows in tj? (jk)

Wtf $300 for a hair transplant. Sounds far too cheap.
I hope everything works out fine for you! How is the hairline design? That's the most critical part of a hair transplant. The majority of the results I have seen from Mexico or Turkey are easily identifiable as hair transplants. They are most often too straight and/or too low, without micro and macro irregularities.

More than a year ago, I had a hair transplant in Thailand with Dr. Patty, and everything went perfectly. However, it also cost me about three thousand euros. And I spent months on the search for a surgeon who creates natural results. Now, the result of my hairline is really natural and even physicians could not believe me that it's not my native hair. There is no way to tell apart.

To be honest, I would be scared to take unsafe hair compounds like primo after a hair transplant. Your transplanted hair is ideally safe from androgen exposure, but if you lose your hair behind your transplant, it will look way worse than without a transplant.

No That was the price of the flights lol
Guess I could have been more clear about that…. Sorry

I guess take BPC-157, TB-500, Ghk-Cu after the surgery. Get a neck pillow, stay there for a couple of days and don't fly directly 1-2 days after the surgery home. Make sure that the surgeon takes time to talk about your hairline design. I was adviced to not take steroids, I stopped them 3 months before and I'm still off cycle and just on HCG monotherapy.

Search for a proper surgeon and not for a clinic, look for the results and listen what other people write on reddit or other forums. Don't go to a hairmill.
The surgeon should do the surgery, sounds obvious, but that's not the case for the big clinics in Turkey. Even in the "premium" package, the surgeon is minimally involved, if at all. Makes sense if 10 other patients are having a surgery at the same time.
Based on what I heard, it's gambling with Turkish clinics. There is without a surgeon who is fully involved in surgery, no one who stands with his name and takes responsibility for the results.

My first plan was also Turkey, but I decided against it and searched for a surgeon and went finally to bangkok. Best decision ever.

I took BPC and HGH after surgery for two months to help healing ya recommend that for sure.

I had my surgeon do my work as well, so I agree with all those things.

I wasn’t on AAS before and stopped my TRT for 4 weeks, but went back on my prescribed dose until 3 months, then I began my low cycle with primo.

I don’t like to live in fear, the tressless community on Reddit is full of hypochondriacs terrified of anything that will drop one hair off their head…. Not my type of crowd

I’ve done my due diligence, and take the proper precautions with medication and other lifestyle choices.
I have no hairs falling off my head at all these days, so I’m comfortable taking AAS now at lower dosages.

I think your overall metabolic health plays a larger role in your hair health then AAS wreck them.
If you’re smart and live a healthy life you will be fine
