Having what seems to be a bad reaction to even medically prescribed HRT after combining UG test

Hey, guys.

Was wondering if anyone experienced what I'm going through or knew someone who did. First off let me start by saying I have a medical appointment scheduled in about two weeks from now. I'm currently traveling and this doesn't seem like it needs immediate attention. Here's the scenario:

I started a thread about my no so great experience with some UG sust I bought and started using in Jan of this year: Having a not so good reaction to Sustanon250

I stopped using it but one of the symptoms I didn't elaborate all that much on was, after about twenty-four hours the base of my neck at the front would have a dull achy pain. It's just above the clavicle but below the Adam's apple and toward the center and front of the lower neck. At its worst, when I touch my chin to my chest it almost feels like everything in my neck is partially constricted (breathing, swallowing).

Here's what's concerning me and what is so bizarre. When I was taking my UG sust and medically prescribed test enanthate I'd draw one cc of each into one syringe and then I'd shake it well to mix it up. I'd inject about a 1/4 every other day so i was doing mini injections throughout the week. After I determined the problem stemmed from the UG sust (because none of this happened before I added the UG test to my weekly injections) I stopped using it and went back to my 200mg of test enanthate (pharmacy grade). And the pain at the base of my neck is still there shortly after injecting! In fact, it seems worse. But after about forty-eight hours the pain is almost completely gone. I now do my 200mg of test enanthate weekly split up into two injections. And the pain and discomfort still occur. Pain in the lower neck again and at its worst in 24 hours and then almost gone in 48.

After looking at some anatomy charts the pain and swollen feeling I get seems to be where the thyroid is located. I'm wondering if the blast of testosterone is aggravating my thyroid gland. I will know more after I see and consult with my physician. In the meantime I'm trying to do online searches to see if I can find anything out but am not finding much

What I'm upset about is obviously that some medical issue is brewing that I'll need to address. But because this seems to be aggravated by my testosterone I'll be super bummed if I'll have to stop my HRT permanently. I'm almost 50 and was always hypogonadal since my thirties.

Test doesn't cause a pain in your neck. You have something else, unrelated, going on.

From what little I've read testosterone can affect the thyroid gland. This chart shows the area where I'm having achy discomfort:

This is an interesting post to me, because I had something related happen many years ago with sustanon. I had temporary movement restriction in my neck, severe pain, and the bottoms of my damn feet began hurting to the point that I was crawling around on my hands and knees to get through my apartment!

My neck began locking up so badly that I couldn't even turn my head to look in the rearview mirror or the car.

I bought some Aleve and some menthol sports gel and I rubbed the hell out of my neck with it. Woke up the next morning and it was like nothing ever happened. Very strange shit and also with sustanon and funny enough, micro dosing it as well .

Only thing I can think of in my case was that I hit a nerve or something

 you were pre mixing in one syringe and using that SAME syringe for a week ?

That doesn't sound very sterileo_O

Could be where some of your issue was coming from

Or did I just misunderstand ?

No, I never reused a needle. Sorry for not explaining that. I'd just unscrew the actual needle I just used to inject myself with and put a fresh one on. I never used a needle more than once ever.

Wow, your situation sounds very similar but like a more severe version of mine. I actually had issues with turning my head to one side as well. In my case, what's concerning me is that this started to happen when I began using Sustanon250. But now that I have dropped the Sust and am sticking with my medically prescribed testosterone enanthate it's still happening after I inject. It's almost like now my body can't distinguish between the UG Sust and pharmaceutical grade testosterone.

I'm wondering if I'm developing hypothyroidism and the testosterone I inject is putting my thyroid through the ringer. I'll know more and post test results when I get them.

I've been learning a lot about how hypothyroidism can have correlations with gynecomastia, ED and higher than normal estradiol levels.

Yeah, I probably didn't quite explain what I was getting at too well.

I didn't figure you were reusing the same "needle" every injection but drawing your compound and leaving it in the barrel for up to 4 or 5 days before you use it probably isn't the best idea either. Plenty of chance for it to become contaminated while waiting for the next use.

I'm just wondering why you would pull more in the barrel than you would need for 1 injection?

Hope I'm not coming off sounding rude as that is not my intention but just wanted to point my thoughts out and wondered if it could have anything to do with these wacky symptoms you are experiencing.

Either way, I hope you get it figured out. Health and safety first!

^ No worries, brother. I don't think you're being rude at all. It's good to ask direct questions to get to the bottom of a situation. I appreciate you doing that here in my quest for input.

I've always done my gear this way. At one point I was splitting up a 200mg dose into four mini injections that spanned over two weeks. I found this to help me maintain more stable levels throughout the two week period instead of the high ups and downs with just one shot every two weeks; what most doctors try to do with their patients on HRT.

I don't think my method is creating what I'm experiencing. On Mondays I draw a fresh syringe from a new and unused 200mg 1cc/mL vial. And i still experience the issues with my neck.
