So I'm about to start TRT at the ripe age of 30, I do want children in the future so I'm wondering would I be better off adding HCG or HMG?

I've only ever used HCG before. Doing more and more reading into fertility while on TRT as I want to tick each box before starting and some people think HMG is better as it doesnt only mimic LH. HMG is also known to be better at preserving sperm production. So I thought I would ask the question here for opinions. Can cruise on low dose HCG while on TRT but watch your E2. HMG should be only added when you actively try to conceive. You should look around and educate yourself properly how spermatogenesis works and what HCG and HMG does. Seems like youre lacking a lot of basic knowledge given that question.
What do you consider a low dose, 750-1,000iu/week?Can cruise on low dose HCG while on TRT but watch your E2. HMG should be only added when you actively try to conceive. 250-300iu of HCG EOD are enough for me, so 3.5x 300iu kind of. Would start with 200iu and see how your E2 changes. What do you consider a low dose, 750-1,000iu/week?
Impressive! So even if someone hasn't been on TRT before, the recommended weekly HCG dosage to preserve fertility should still be around 1000 IU?My urologist said most all of his patients whom want to remain fertile should aim for 1000 a week. 250 twice a week generally isn’t enough. It’s also age related and length of time on TRT/ gear. When I came off to conceive my child I was running 3300 I.U 3x a week at 44 years old. I went from a 0 sperm count after 8 years on TRT with 250 IU of HCG 2x/week to 20million in 3 months! Child was conceived within a month after that!
First of all, congrats. Second - did you use 5k vials and draw up in 250iu increments? Some folks seem to think you should freeze Hcg in single use after reconstituting. But feel like I need to ask the guy who had success. My urologist said most all of his patients whom want to remain fertile should aim for 1000 a week. 250 twice a week generally isn’t enough. Thank you, originally I was using clomid@25-50mg a day as well as HCG2500 IU 3x a week. I ran that for about 3 months then was getting some sides from the clomid. So we dropped that and bumped up the HCG to 3300 IU 3x@ week. With the original dose I used 1 ML of bac water into the 5k bottle then drew a 0.5 cc at a time. I think for 3300 it was like 0.7 or something close. Essentially I was running 2-3 5000iu bottles a week for 8 months. Sorry for late reply btw, haven’t been on here much.First of all, congrats. Yes and No. If you did one or two steroid cycles and PCT correctly then you most likely wouldn’t need HCG at all. A sperm analysis (S.A) is the first step if you believe you might have an issue. That will definitively outline where you’re at and what steps to take going forward. The older you are and longer duration of use/compounds used will influence how much if any HCG is needed. It’s very common for younger guys to get girls pregnant while on cycle as they have more motile and total sperm count+ the life cycle span of sperm is 60-70 days. So even if the HPTA is shut down or on its way it’s still very possible to knock a girl up while on gear. Hell Ronnie Coleman has like 8 kids and he used a tad more than “just the basic stuff” lolImpressive!
