HDL fight

Hello everyone!
As im lurking more and more into Meso Rx, Im very happy to c here so many smart and helpfull personas.
Im struggling with my HDL so many years, cant figure it out what is trampling them so hard.
I was sure it is just high testosteron/dht, and lowering my test to not more than 150ew will help me alot. No way. When i rised test above 500 or add masteron or any dht it drops instant till 3mg/dl. 1 year no more than 150 (+ meeeybe A little bit of npp) and still cant go higher than 25mg/dl HDL. Ldl and 3gli no more than 100 all time but this hdl make me go crazy.
I eat clean (3months) before this time i was like
3 months training 1 month drinjing alot, cheating whooole day long, but still in good shape etc so i was sure its fine. Anyway my sugar rised above 100 at morning so next step was to clean it as hard as i can, right now my sugars are 80 at morning and not more than 100 even after carbs, anyway i eat only 200g of it nad 300p 90f. I rised 20hdl, put 250 primobolan but in 3 weeks hdl start to drop so I stopped it.
Im using alot supps like o3, Berberin, citrus bergamot, alot salmon, low GI carbs, good fats, no alkohol etc.
So am I just dht/test sensitive, or its just about letting my liver heal up (its ok with numbers, but after years with alcohol and sugars it could lill get fatty), do You Guys have any even LITTLE hints?
Best regards!

You're probably fighting genetics.

My HDL has always been below range.

I'm trying Slo-Niacin before breakfast and dinner to see if it'll help when I pull labs next month.

I've tried fish oils, low carb, high fiber, red yeast rice with cq10, and a bunch of other stuff and so far nothing works.

Same here. Anyway my hdl was fine b4 steroids, so I blame them, not my genetics which were ok in terms of hdl b4 roids.

Not 100%, but about 20-30% dietary are involved. Anyway, diet ofc means, bcoz glucose spikes, low insulin sensitivity have great impact on inflammation etc -> cholesterol swings.

Most guys in TRT never get there HDL above 40 mg/dl. Seems your doing everything you can to get the numbers up. Im guessing if you told a doctor this you could get something prescribed.

I would prefer to settle with low HDL then taking niacin imho.

Probably you are already doing this, but keep in mind if your total is low, then your HDL will go along with that. The ratio of HDL to total, and separately, HDL to LDL is more important than the HDL figure alone. Now, 3mg/dl as you said is really low, but you were also on a lot of gear at that point, so not surprising in my opinion. I've struggled with HDL being below 40 for as long as I've been looking at it, about 10 years (the amount of time on TRT). Cardio, really good diet with rarely any high glycemic, no alcohol or other drugs, lots of omega 3's etc. When off TRT for 3 months (for spermatogenesis), my HDL did get to around 50. Now, at 100mg a week of TRT, my HDL is at around 25. But my total is about 100, LDL at 70. Last time I did a major search on scholarly thoughts on the topic, they were still not conclusive about which ratios matter the most though.

btw this is a great thread, would love to hear more people's views, especially if there are any >60 year olds who have had low HDL but haven't died of cardiac arrest yet :)

Woop woop xD same for me, if it would be only about "my aspat alat are 4-digits" i wouldnt even care, but its fckin tubes-in-ur-whole-body-system so its problematic and im concerned when i first time felt this weird "pain" in my calfs... an im only 28

Not a fan of skin fire?

I did the Niacin thing through the winter months and it took some time to titrate up to 1g without wanting to tear my skin off and live in a cold shower. It is proven to up HDL though although I never did end up getting bloods pulled to to validate.

I think everything else just helps to lower LDL if I am not mistaken?

Ye thats right all/99% supps are for ldl lowering, anyway hdl should rise even slicly.
I saw that niacin even if rise hdl it does not connected to help fight CVD. And for me it is stupid idea to suffer this crazy rush only to rise up hdl, which will crash down few moments after back to small 200-400 gear ew.

Roughly this. I have hdl 30, but ldl 80, tg 45 so my cards said I’m fine. One exception to above if yes to alcohol, 2 drinks a day, I do 2 glasses of Pinot and it has helped

I took one of these my first and only time taking niacin. Skin fire is a pretty accurate description. I read people's descriptions online about niacin flush and figured they were just being little bitches about it. Turns out it's actually pretty intense.

If you don't supplement it yet i personally would take Fish oil, 3g EPA+DHA every day in total

Red Yeast Rice Extract also can do miracles. It contains a natural form of statins called monacolin k. Monacolin k is working identical to Lovastatin, but it gets absorbed better. 3mg Monacolin k equal about 10mg Lovastatin. At least on Amazon in Europe it is extremely easy to get a good standardized extract with specific amounts of monacolin k

But be aware that statins can lower coenzyme q10. So if you decide to take it, even usual dosages for red yeast rice are low statin dosages(normal statin medications are like 20-80mg a day, and 3mg are 10mg), u should think about taking coenzyme q10. Btw i would always recommend to take q10 because of the positive effects, as an example for your heart. Ubiquinol would be the best bioavailable form, 100mg Ubiquinol would be sufficient i think, for Ubiquinon maybe more would make sense, because it has to get converted to the active form before. Which results in lower bioavaibility

Citrus bergamot is also very common but they most expensive one on the List. Dosage is usually 1000mg. I heard from a german youtuber called Max Madsen that he got his HDL DURING a Tren Cycle, he didn't change his cycle - he just added Citrus Bergamot at a dosage of 1000mg a day, from a HDL of 5 to 40(!). He specificly mentioned that he stayed on Tren during that

He talks about it in this interview somewhere at around 12 min and he posted his dosage in a youtube comment on a more recent video. This is where i have the 1000mg a day from

In my Opinion a good health supplementation is essential when you decide to take PED's

Im taking citrus bergamot since 2019, epa + dha even more than 3g (coz i like salmon), and cant go over 25 xD i think genetics, dats all. Not more than 100 test btw. I will try to use injectable nac, coz hitting glutatione was allways rise hdl hard, but cant find legit tad600 right now. Right now my next step is to cutt carbs below 150, once I did it "for fun" and rised 15 points in 2 weeks.

I tried citrus bergamot and my hdl didn’t change, for what it’s worth

Only thing that really increased it was Crestor (usually doesn’t affect hdl, but it did for me, and lowered my ldl from 130 to 80, all from 10 mg twice a week).
