Heads up on Jintani Labs

Anyone considering ordering from Jintani Labs might want to hold off for now.

My buddy is involved in a payment dispute with them right now. He sent a large sum of money to them and the payment agency is saying they picked it up - Jintani is claiming that they did not pick it up.

Jintani is "reviewing it right now".

My buddy has ordered from them several times for him and friends and he has always been satisfied with the quality and TA and service. I should point out that he has mostly used their liquids and the one friend of his that ran their orals said they were weak.

As soon as there is a resolution, I will update this right away.

But be very cautious for now. I just don't want to see anyone have the same thing happen and then feel like a dickhead for not throwing this out there.

Thanks for the heads up, though of using them but the shipping is pretty expensive, I'll stick to domestic for now.

Bigger Ben nails another one! This might also be how/why they sell their stuff so cheap. They might not make as much money off of each order, but when they swing for the fences they hit a grand slam?!

Yes, average sized order in the past has been $600-$700. This one was $1,100.

I will immediately hop on here and update if they make it right - but in the meantime I don't want to see another brother (a meso bro) get burned if I can prevent it.

I ordered from them and received it OK just 1 month ago. They have a complicated ordering system. Everything is done on their website including giving them payment info. If you just send them an e-mail like most sites do, they will never get the payment info. You have to enter it on their website.

They are giving my boy the run around. Keep telling him they are looking into it. It shouldn't take this long "to look into".

Buyer beware. My buddy got several legit orders from them (him and 2 of his friends ran the gear and liked it (just liquids, no orals)) but he is now out $1,100 dollars unless they suddenly come through for him. And it was his and his friend's money, so now he has to make good to his friend too.

Sounds like a selective scammer.

Corned Beef Hash (I think it was him) posted a while back that he placed a really big order with Jintani and they came through for him, so I guess it is hit or miss.

But my advice would be to stay away, unless they come through, at which point I will post it asap.

I know for a fact that it's a tough time to get orders from that country of origin. There's been a 2 week holiday. I've never had any problems with Jintani. I think Naps owns them or is affiliated with them in some way. I know it sucks to wait but I'm sure your friend's gear will arrive soon.

Talked to a buddy at the gym who also got the run around from Jintani. He placed his order, sent the payment and nothing for two weeks. He says he talked to him and they told him they received the payment notification but hadn't picked it up.

He then says he received a notification this morning that his order was cancelled and that he had to resend his payment but change names. I don't know if this is common but it sends up red flags. I told him not to resend and get his money back.

Is this something that is common?

I've had it happen a couple of times with other sources. In both cases the one picking up the money got the names confused. In theory your buddy can just transfer the name, but I was given a hard time when I tried. It's easier to just get the money back and resend. I suspect WU collects a good bit of cash flagging transactions at the end point then making it difficult to get a refund.
