Good day everyone,

Hope you've all had a great holiday.

I've been training seriously about 10 years now. Would've been 12 years but had 2 years in-between where I sort of fell out of love with training and all I wanted to do was party. When I first started, my goal was to be a pro bodybuilder as all I wanted to do was train, eat, and travel. 3 years into training and I realized I didn't have the mental fortitude to be a professional. Sticking to a strict low calorie diet made me so irritable that it was negatively affecting my life. Too much of a food loving fat guy. This was actually a blessing in the end and made training more fun.

First dabbled in prohormones in my early 20s when it was technically legal. First cycle of a PH was a complete waste as I lost my gains after coming off because I lost motivation. Next 3 cycles were better but I decided to be natural afterwards for the next 6 years. Then I started self TRT+ of 160mg/wk. Really improved 95% of my life. The other 5% is the occasional sleep issue and fat face if I slip on my diet.

Been lurking Meso for about 3 years now and decided to start posting to learn more about what I'm putting into my body. After also lurking a few different forums, this seemed like it had the best community.

Welcome, @hydroshake.

This speaks to me; I am a food loving fat guy at my core. These GLP1s are a godsend for me due to this.

Agreed. The community here is a nice mixture of education, fun and reasonable trolling.

Careful not to develop MDS (Meso derangement syndrome) - it’s a slow onset and difficult to identify initially.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays - hope the season is treating you right.

Welcome,

If you ever decide to try GLPs, like the above mentioned, they are magic. I am a food loving fat guy and they assisted me in losing 60 lbs.

Enjoy your stay.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome! Was there a ton of trial and error with the GLP1 dosage as to not completely kill your appetite?
You just follow pharma protocols, I have only did Tirz and it didnt “completely “ shut my appetite down, there was a long learning period for me, as if you overeat you get hiccups and it took me awhile to learn and underStand my body when to stop on it.
On Tirz, pharma stops at 15MG i believe, with pharma and UGL not being a 1 to 1, you can go higher with UGL. Im at 30MG Tirz right now, 1 pin from 25MG.

Completely annihilated appetite and gastric emptying at first on Tirz. But I probably rushed into things per usual for me.

I now can eat enough on max dose of Tirz or Reta to hit 300 pounds. But I don’t have to eat that much. Gives me the ability to take it or leave it much easier without being so food focused.

Then add in the plethora of non weight loss mediated benefits, and my plan is to stick on one of these drugs indefinitely. At least that is the current plan.

Appreciate the info guys! I might give it a shot now. I almost wrote it off because I've heard from people I know personally saying it destroys their appetite completely and they feel very lethargic. Definitely not something you want if you want to perform at a high level. Probably just have to take it slow and ramp up at a reasonable rate.
