I wanted to introduce myself. My name is more tongue and cheek. However I've found myself here after having some experience in the peptides world.

I was diagnosed 6 years ago with hypogadism in my 20s and between caring for a family and keeping up with health insurance I let my health go by the wayside.

I ignored my sides up until about 3 years ago. I have been through 3 endos who didn't want to prescribe trt. Spent way to much on appointments and blood work to just end up on clomid which was the only option given. It gave me horrible sides.

I was up to 309lbs, I do shift work and nights have demolished body as well. So this year I got fed up with the healthcare system and decided to dive into grey markets for sourcing. I started on retatrutide and semax (I have ADHD/asd) it's completely changed my life. In my youth I was an avid weight lifter spent about 3 years doing 3 days a week at the gym. I was always pushing the limits of how much heavier I could go. I've always been wider shoulders and pretty strong.

Life got super complicated, some moving around homelessness and getting married.

I never went back to the gym because I worked warehousing and my 12 hour shifts were basically an all day workout all mostly heavy lifting.

I got hurt and ended up moving into a desk job in IT and have been doing that as a career since. It's made me pretty sedentary.

Since starting reta and implementing weight lifting again. I started with a pair of FB marketplace Bowflex dumbells, got a bench then graduated to a small cable machine I use too. I've been building back lost muscle from the low T.

Found out I could get testosterone on the grey market and decided to make the jump. Iso far I e lost 60lbs and counting. I feel so much better and having normal test is amazing. I'm looking forward to learning here. I had never considered anabolics. However I've got the bug again. I do suffer from a bit of body dysmorphia. I acknowledge that however here's to getting bigger in stronger and healthier safely. Thanks to all of you who have laid the groundwork.

I was up to 309lbs,

fed up with the healthcare system

Maybe the healthcare system wasn't the problem. Don't cast doubt on our institutions when you were the underlying problem. You were showing up as an unhealthy obese person. WTF were they supposed to do, loose the weight for you?

I had never considered anabolics. However I've got the bug again

There is not a galaxy in this universe where you should touch anabolics.

You are overweight and working out with dumbbells at home.

What part of that requires anabolic steroids?

This is not for you

Spend your money on lipid bloodwork and get a cardiologist to see what kind of damage you have from living as an obese person.

Lol thanks guys. Appreciate the warm welcome. Glad I'm a piece of garbage. I tried for 3 years to get on testosterone to no avail with an average test of 200. Totally my fault for not having the energy or mental capacity to do something other that taking my own life which almost happened.

I'm 60lbs down. By December I'll be in the 200s I'll get there.

I tried for 3 years to get on testosterone to no avail with an average test of 200.

You tried for 3 years to get someone to give you a drug instead of spending 3 years loosing weight which probably would have fixed your low test. A Dr wasn't going to treat your obesity with a testosterone prescription, which is why they didn't give you one. You were making complaints about a side effect from a disease that you were not addressing. Did you do anything in that 3 years to make yourself more healthy? Or did you have drug user mentality thinking if you could only get this one drug it will do all the things you weren't willing to do for yourself?

..........all of that is fine, not everyone can help themselves at al times..........but don't discredit our medical system over your unwillingness to help yourself.

For fck sake man... there is absolutely no reason at all for you to even think about taking anabolic steroids.

Spend your money and efforts on extremely comprehensive bloodwork and cardiac imaging and preventative care to see what damage was done from your lifestyle, and what you need to do to fix it.

Steroids wont do any of that for you

So just to add here. I started that 3 years at 225. I'm 5'11 I had low testosterone. I was eating clean. I am hypogonadl. I didn't ask for that. I was on a clean diet however I couldn't recover from any workouts I tried. I couldn't in those 3 years I had 3 separate surgeries. 2 of which landed me completely sedentary for a year. Lots of physical therapy.

I was discouraged man. I was hurt and broken. All I wanted was to get prescribed enough to to bring me up to a level where my body wasn't breaking itself.

The fact that as a young adult male could t get an endo to prescribe trt but my 18 year old niece wants to become a man can get it prescribed boggles my mind.

That being said I also found out a long the way my IGF-1 levels sat at about 100 and even on a clinical dose of vitamin D3 I was still deficient at blood work.

So yes our current healthcare system frustrates me. I've found better care leading and taking charge of my own health. My current doctor who is in a holistic practice and has been so proud of me from the day I started coming to them to now. So much so he wishes his other patients were taking as much effort as I am.

I track my bloods every 8-12 weeks, I make sure every visit I have trending data for my blood pressure. He is aware and okay with my current regiment and his exact words were " I don't care what you take as long as your blood work comes back good and you are headed in the right direction." Not everyone is born with stellar genetics. I sure wasn't. However I am taking every step I can to ensure that I'm not dead by 40. I got the greenlight to start HGH which has been night and day with my sleep and recovery mixed with my testosterone dosage. I'm actually recovering for the first time in years. Im actually getting stronger and will be getting a dexa in a few weeks to see where everything is at.

I'm really trying here. I want to be the besty body can be. I hated being as unhealthy as I was. That being said I'm not looking at anything ped related outside of testosterone till I hit 15% or below on bf because I enjoy lifting heavy and that's still quite a ways out. My guess is 3 years from now once I've built back anything I've lost I'll be back to lifting heavy again which I miss dearly. Because I loved it so much.
