Hello from Canada - New Member Introduction.

Hey Everyone,

I’m a 45 year old male from a suburb of Toronto, ON. I’m currently trying to lose weight while still maintaining some muscle mass. I went on a diet last year and lost over 30lbs - but am still overweight.

Unfortunately, per my DEXA scans a lot of that weight I lost was muscle which was freaking me out. On the advice of some friends I checked my T levels a few times and they were really low 300’s.

As a result, I’ve been on TRT for 9 weeks now but have decided to jump on a cycle after my next round of blood tests with my clinic - just to get some baseline numbers. I should have those back this coming week. Currently on 75mg TRT Cream. I use MacroFactor to track my calories and am currently doing a 4 day upper / lower split with some light cardio on my off days.

Basically, at this age I don’t want to play with fire. I’m not looking to blast but get on a higher dose of roughly 250mg per week of test and see how that goes while cutting and getting my bloodwork done. The 250mg of test is just what I’ve been hearing is a safe dose to start.

I joined the forum because I want to make sure I don’t ruin myself by being an idiot and just doing whatever. There’s obviously a lot of good advice and knowledge here and that’s what I need.
