Hi, I am a 32 year old, 5'8", 185, male, and like to party (quote "Hot Rod"). I have started my transformation and have been reading this site a lot. I am enjoying weight lifting because when my wife sends me into a rage I can say, "I am going to work out". Where as before, I would leave to smoke a cigarette.
I was one of those hard gainers when I was younger. I was told to follow up in the Army with a nutritionist because I showed to have 3% bodyfat, after Basic Training and AIT. I went in at 120 and left basic at 120, even though everyone else transformed, I remained visably the same. Although, I did lesrn how to run properly and could run 2 miles in 13 minutes. I gave up at 22 at that point 150, started to really enjoy beer at 24. At 25, I found myself being called chubby. Worked out on and off for a couple of years. But ultimately I went to graduate school.
There, I met a former bodybuilder. He explained diet and the right supplements, which he bought me the supplements. Now I am eating clean, working out, and I quit smoking or dipping. I went from size 40 waist 5 weeks ago to a 36 inch waist today.
