Hello...

35 year old blue collar worker... Developed type 1 diabetes at the age 33... Went without treatment for a long time which messed up all my hormones. After I got diagnosed and jump on insulin treatment managed to build back my size and most of my strength but it was a hell of a battle. Couple months ago I jumped on TRT because my levels were just not coming back and it started to affect my daily life.

6 foot 3 ... 350lbs fat fuck.. Looking to slowly burn fat, gain strength and some muscle mass on my upper body. My legs are already jacked from carrying my fat ass at work for 8 hours per day (stand at a lathe) + daily activites for 10 years(the time I've been this size).

Used to arm wrestle on national level tested by wada. Now on TRT competing in the occasional supermatch and tending practices. Can almost close a CoC 3.5.

My thoughts are to jump on a couple 8 week cycles per year. On which I use more testosterone and possibly some oral steroid (4 weeks) like anavar. Use these cycles to cut weight gain strength and muscle.

I'll be lurking reading up on harm reduction and peoples different experiences.

Cheers,

Arnold

At 350lbs, I personally do not recommend. I don’t recommend any AAS until you get your body fat down to 25 percent or so. To many variables with all of that body fat. You’re already causing a lot of stress on your body and adding something that impacts your already compromised health could cause more issues. Prob not what you want to hear and the choice is yours but trt if needed til you get that body fat down is all you should do. Getting in AAS isn’t a cure all and if your going to use them it’s best to have every thing dialed in before using them. Do the work and get weight and bodyfat down then revisit. Delayed gratification is the game and it takes discipline. Use the forum for info on diet and training though. Lots of experience and info on those things. The search function will lead you to the way. Then ask questions.

Highly recommend looking into tirzepatide or retatrutide, for both of the major concerning reasons of your text.
Diabetes and obesity, they do miracles for that.

Why did you ask if I had done anadrole?.....

Gonna go ahead with my plan... Not willing to lose a significant part of my strength again so soon after I just regained it. Which will happen if I lose 50-100lbs with no gear to help keep the muscles at my age.

For the guy recommending tirzepadite ... I'll have a chat with my doc if thats an option for losing weight.... nothing is curing the insulin producing cells my immune system have killed.

Me either. Cycling is just asking for trouble. Reta or tirz (or both) should be your focus. Unless you blew your nuts off in a hunting accident I wouldn't have started TRT at all. Just being honest.

Good luck though. I wish you success. Keep us updated and ask if you need help.

Seeing if you knew what it was about and what it does and doesn’t do and I meant Anavar which it all still applies to what I said about AAS use. A 4 week cycle of Anavar isn’t going to give you much bang for your buck and adding the dosages you need at your current composition is adding fuel to a fire. Insulin also impacts your test levels that’s prob why you seen a drop encompassed with the current weight. You asked for advice and we have gave some. Of course your life and your choice. We all know the health impacts and this community (sometimes blunt) just try to help each other in as much harm reduction possible. It’s advice and that’s all. People can listen to guys with decades of experience on how these compounds work and the effects on health or they don’t. There is a Anavar thread in the forum. Get your baseline bloods to include liver and kidney function at least then check as you go. Just research what Anavar is for though. Good luck

One more thing. Look into what Anavar does to insulin.

I hear you people. Gonna take the risk. Thanks.

As a type 1 diabetic I'm already bound to a regimented life near healthcare administering hundreds of thousands of jabs the rest of my life.... Doesn't sound like people appreciate the task to gain my size and strength while managing glucose, working full time and having a family. Took some commitment in and outside the gym. TRT has given a significant boost to both my personal life and training. My bloodpressure is 75/125-135. TRT is prescribed by my doc... we are monitoring bloodwork which gets double checked by my endochrinologist doc during diabetes checkups.

Just be straight up no fucking around thanks...

Insulin is for life no getting around that anymore... Not gonna live the rest of my life with extra low t... getting significantly smaller isn't an option either just yet.

Whenever I change anything in my life it's going to impact my glucose... Very used to being careful and change my insulin dosages to whatever is needed. Got libre 3+ which constantly monitors my glucose and I double check with a blood test immediately if I'm in a hurry.... because the app has a 10 min delay.

Full bloodwork has been checked 2-5 times per year for the last 3 years and is now being monitored by two docs.

There are a lot of us in here that understand and appreciate the time it takes. We aren’t a bunch of Instagram influencers in here. Most of us this is our lifestyle. Getting to 240-250 pounds then back down to 212 or lower for some then back up again. If anyone gets it this is the place. So that’s just an untrue statement to think nobody appreciates it. Most of us have had to start over at some point and build back up. The l first thing any of us that gives a crap is going to do before talking cycles is talk your health.
