Iv only done it once, but It’s objectively easy. Powder, distilled water, ba. Just read this thread and you’ll find diff recipes to try. 8 pages is nothing.

Yeah no problem. It’s for sure way too cheap to make to justify spending money on it. Probably 100$ for everything to get started and it will make a couple thousand mls. Good luck.

Just make sure you use a sterile filter at the end when pushing the brew to vials. The receipe on post #4 is pretty decent for beginners.

Quick question, is Acetyl L-Carnitine just regular L-Carnitine? It is the only L-Carnitine compound I am able to find on Amazon.

Are you saying the displacement for l-Carnitine is 0.6ml/g? I had 1.56ml/g in a screenshot from a different thread. The math doesn’t work out to 600 either way. 750 would be cool since it draws just fine and doesn’t hurt at all. I ended up adding more BA, heated a little, and refiltered.

I make pipless L-carnitine 500mg/ml regularly, from bulk supplements.
264 ml distilled water ( heated /mag stirrer)
5ml HCI
Slowly add 250g L-carnitine bulk sups
( let stir for a few minutes will be a lil cloudy)
Add 5 ml BA
Add distilled water until you hit 500ml staring the entire time.
Filter through 22um filter (I use buchnar funnel with medium filter its actually a 20um) comes out crystal clear and ph is around 6-7

You cannot produce a sterile product filtering with a buchner funnel.
The filter disk does not seal and there is nothing preventing filter bypass.
Stop doing that if you want to avoid a hospital trip

A general guideline for a commercially prepared, sterile L-carnitine injection is to use it within 3 months of first broaching the vial, while storing it below \(25^{\circ }C\) and away from light. I put all my solutions in 30 ml amber vials keep them in the dark. Just incase.
Apologies if someone’s done this already (I’ve missed it if they have) but could someone post the equipment list for L-Carnitine with recommend specifications or product links for filters, mag stirrers etc. I understand the names of the products needed but I’d prefer specifics to make sure nothing I order is incorrect / inferior.
