Help me pick my next vehicle

Go test drive an Audi A-4 AWD. I traded in a 3 series BMW and never looked back, Audi is fucking king when it comes to performance and handling bro!!! When I took it to the mountains the day after I bought it I couldn't believe how it hugged the road. Only bad part is you'll be going 100mph and feel like you're doing only 40. I own an A-4 my wife drives and got a new A-3 convertible for myself. I'm going to step up to an A-7 next. Just go test drive one bro, you'll be hooked
+1 on the Audi

I'm a professional and drive this.

Just get what you want. Who cares what you drive. I always get customers who ask questions about the truck. It's a talking point.
Nice truck!

I had an Acura TSX fully loaded. I really liked it but it probably wasn't as fast as some of these more expensive car.
But for the price it was pretty killer.

If your Denali is in decent shape I would keep it if it's been maintained. You won't get shit for it and it's a good truck for backup. They last too
It is. I haven't had it long. If I were to sell it I wouldn't really take much of a loss. It's an 07 so you can't tell if its a 10k truck or a 30k truck from the outside. I got it at auction price 2 years ago for 12k and I'm pretty sure I could get 10 for it private party.

Its just at the point I'd have to sink some money into it. Just tires and brakes but tires on that thing are going to be expensive. Plus I don't really have anyplace to put it. Only have a two stall garage and one stall is a shop/home gym combo. I want my wife to take it instead of her Acadia but she waits it's too high up for her and the kids.

I had this convo with another member and I'll tell you what I told him. I was doing the car hunt thing for months because I'm particular and thorough and read numerous pages online
About how luxury cars depreciate more than any other vehicle. You could pick up an Infiniti loaded with low miles awd for well under 30k. I got a 2012 Infiniti G37x coupe loaded and in perfect condition with 10,000 miles on it. Basically new for around 25 out the door. It's around 22 mpg highway. Not great but not terrible. Do a search for best used luxury cars and you'll be surprised. Have fun with it and take your time. If you have a car sense nearby, check them out. They'll let you take any car by yourself for a half hour as many times as you like. 5 day return policy as well

Yeah I loved the q50 hybrid I drove. It was like 25k for a 2014 with 40k miles which isn't bad considering it probably had a 60k sticker new. I'd need a sedan in case I ever have to take the kids.

Also drove a new maxima yesterday and I wasn't impressed. A lot of power but the handling sucked.

Oh no shit. I thought all acuras were FWD so I didn't really consider them. I'd be okay with a car with higher miles with an Acura since they are owned by Honda.

2013 is about the oldest I'd want to go if I spend over 20. If I go older I'd want to stay under 15 so I dont have to finance anything.

I hate car payments. The only reason I'm okay with one now is my allowance should cover payment and fuel cost. Too bad not many companies do mileage reimbursements anymore. That's like a 10-20k raise with what the cost per mile runs.

The tech in these new vehicles blows my mind. Separate screens for Nav and vehicle info, lane alerts park assist, steering assost. Crazy shit. My last sedan was an 07 mkz. Nice car but nowhere near the bells and whistles. Seems like they turned the corner in 2013 with the tech.

Side note since you're a dealer. What do you think I can get private party for an 07 yukon denali with 180k miles? It has literally every single option available. Just normal wear and tear. Only thing that doesn't work is the auto running boards. Has some extras like aftermarket 20s, limo tints (seemed to help sell my last car) and werhertechs front middle and back.

Sorry about the delay. Value depends on where u live. Where I'm from you could probably get 12ish. I'll give ya 7. Lol.. if it's snowing where you are sell that fucker. The interest will definitely die down in the spring. Full time all wheel is a bitch.
Me, being a mechanic since 05, would not get an Audi. They are fuckin great looking and nice as shit but when something goes wrong it's expensive. They honestly aren't built to last without serious repair. Way over engineered. If you have a warranty and don't tend to keep your rigs for too long then that's different. I'd try to find one of those awd TL's just to drive it. It will run forever. This is all just my experience so no offense to anyone. I drive a diesel ford and a supercharged 500hp chrysler so I went a different direction. Side note, don't buy a Chrysler..

funny you said 7- that's what every dealer around has offered more or less. Dealers are asking like 13500 for comps but they've been sitting awhile. Since it needs tires I'm planning on listing it at 11500 and taking the first 10000 I get offered. It snows a ton up here.

Subaru wrx sti. 0-60 under 5 seconds, 300 hp, AWD, 23 mpg highway. Kind of boy racerish with the rear wing though.

Agreed, very boyish. Also, it won't have any of the luxury you will find in an Audi or other vehicle recommended in the thread. Sure it's cool to have, but I'd take an AWD Acura TL any day over that wrx. That's just me tho.

Ok. So I have flipped 17 cars in the last 2 years and I have made good money on every single one.
I will say this, unless you are looking for a VERY specific car/color I would not go to any dealer. They will rip you off.
Private party is the only way to buy cars if you know what your doing. Government car Auctions are good too.

That's why I really like the q40 hybrid. All of the fun,all the tech, all of luxury AND the gas mileage. It's 0-60 is 4.9 seconds.

I still need to drive the TL though. it would probably last longer.

Yeah, I used to make better money when I was a flipper too. Then I grew up and realized that being a tax fraud was kinda fuckin risky and not how I wanted to live. A friend of mine actually got fucked by the dor for flipping.
You buy cars for cheap then sell em for more eh? Kinda like a dealer or any business. Go fuck yourself. It's how I pay 5 employees and take care of my family. The difference between us is if a customers car breaks down I have the means to help them and will fix it. I'm too nice I guess so don't call me a ripoff ya little craigslist flipper..

Fuck myself?
I have never committed tax evasion or fraud even when selling to my friends. The dmv double taxes me every time.
(I have known someone to get busted)
Also as far as your last dumbass remark. I have DEALERS hitting me up to by my cars from me for my asking price.
And I have payed to fix a car that broke down 2 months after I sold it just in good faith.
I'll proudly be a Craigslist flipper, putting in hard work to fix up otherwise worthless cars, and getting them back on the road at an affordable price.

Quite a service your doing for the community. So where your from you can sell as many cars as you want personally? I'm over it. Its just ignorant when people don't understand what there talking about and they insult your business, which happens to be a major part of my life. Some dealers are shitty, some are good motherfuckers. Just like everywhere else in life.

Well fine you might be one of the good ones idk and idc. I'm not fucking ignorant. I've never sold more than 5 personal vehicles in a calendar year. I pay taxes on every car. Nothing illegal about it.
What you do and what I do are entirely different business models anyways and you know that.

17 in two years isn't five a year but that's fine. I understand where you're coming from and way more money to be made the way you're doing it . Couldn't sleep last night I'm just in a bad mood. Do your thing bro. I've always loved cars obviously you must also.
Sorry for the thread hijack op. Good luck on your car hunt and let me know how you like thoseTL's
