hi everyone this is my first post on here. I am asking for help with my diet. I am a 27 year old female I am 147 lbs and 5'5 I trying to cut my weight for my first anavar cycle. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what my macros and calorie intake should be and what I should be eating to help with weight loss. I plan on ordering t3 to help. I work out at least 3-4 days a week.

I highly advise holding off on t3 just for starters.

First, download myfitnesspal app.

Find a few calorie maintenance tdee calculators and figure out what your maintenance is.

Then subtract 600 calories and stick to it.

Add in cardio after weight training to help shed the fat. Everything will start to come naturally after you get these first few pointers completed.

Macros are kind of a personal preference but carbs are something to keep closer to training sessions. Protein - try to take in at LEAST a gram per pound of bodyweight. It might be overkill if you take in too much but it'll just get you used to the lifestyle if and when you start cycling. Healthy fats are good in moderation.

Welcome to meso!

I currently use my fitness pal and I do lots of cardio but after a while my body just gets stuck and my weight does not move. That's why I was thinking t3 help me with the extra pounds I need to loose

What are your macros at currently and how long have you been training?

It's to be expected that you are going to see weight loss stall out... When this happens you'll need to lower your calories further. What are your calories at now?

These are my macros and calories currently. I have been training for a few years now but Iam not as consistent as I would like to be because I get discouraged when my weight loss stops (something I need to work on). This time last year I was weighing in at 170 so things are happening but not as quickly as I would like to. I really wanna start the anavar cycle but think I need to lean out more.

Don't worry about the scale so much! It's very deceiving... Mirror is much more accurate. You've seen some definite progress in the past year. Forget the scale unless you're trying to gain weight...

What kind of deficit are you at right now? Your macros don't look terrible to me but I personally would lower the carbs and increase the fats respectively.

What's training look like?

I'm at a 500 calorie deficit. Training right now includes lots of cardio. This morning I did an hour and 10 min of cardio and about 10 min weight training and on my way back to do some more weight training with my husband. I just started doing 2 days a week cardio before I eat in the morning. I also do weight training with my husband at night 3 days a week along with cardio on those days as well.

Can I ask why you don't recomend the t3?

IMO T3 is not something to mess around with if you don't know what you're doing with performance enhancing drugs. It's something to utilize down the road. Others might disagree possibly but I personally think messing with your thyroid is too much too soon. It is an excellent compound to try down the road though.

Albuterol or EC stack are much more along the lines of what you would want to start out with. If you're set on trying something I find them both to be helpful and conservative but they will both give you some side effects you need to decide if you're ready for.

As far as training, I would look into a training program that has weight training as the focus and HIIT cardio to complete your sessions. Morning cardio is great for steady state but HIIT is better from my experience and it takes less time. Doing a weight training routine first is ideal then finish with HIIT and watch the fat melt.

You'll want to have a good base of weight training knowledge if you want to do anavar too!

Welcome! @Eman gave you excellent advice. Have you done HIIT rather than steady state cardio? I think you'll see more results if you incorporate that into your weekly workouts.

Being consistent with your eating and training will get you results, I promise. Try to be patient and don't get discouraged if you don't see the scale numbers go down. Weight fluctuates so much based on how much water you're retaining, what you ate the night before, how much you did or didn't drink, if it's that time of the month, etc. If you fall off the wagon, don't beat yourself up over it. Get back on there right away and keep at it. Consistency is key!

I want to applaud you for doing your research and making sure you're at your goal weight before doing your first cycle. A lot of newbies should take note of this.;)

Good luck with your goals!

I'm sorry, I know nothing of T3. As for anavar, it's a steroid used to bulk with a weight training program, or to help progress strength at advanced intermediate levels, or used by more advanced bodybuilding competitors with already high muscle mass from years of training to maintain LBM while cutting aggressively.

Without such a base, running anavar will make you thicker. It will build muscle long before fat loss is seen. It fills you out almost to max potential, so if you're of high bodyfat, results will be disappointing, especially if not run alongside an intense training program that is followed strictly and with focus on progressive overload.

to help with diet ideas.... I would focus on ensuring you get 1g of protein per pound of your weight a day, also incorporate good fats such as almonds/walnuts, avocado, natural peanut butter. That is very important for women and weight/fat loss. Also, ensure you are drinking a lot of water. You can add some lemon if you have a hard time drinking plain. The little flavor will help you get the recommended gallon and the lemon also assists in boosting metabolism...so it's good for you :) Finally, training consistently and cardio will definitely get you closer to your goal.
