I know brother. It's fucking sad. First time I've ever been dissapointed in something I saw someone post on here. Unfortunately there are worse people out there.

It's not a lack of empathy. Being filled with anger, hate and an insecure personality are markers for low self esteem/value. It's why bullies are often the most depressed individuals, they feel the need to put others down to cope with their own issues.

In other words, he has empathy but he doesn't care because his own self esteem is very low. He wants to bring others down to make himself feel more worthwhile.

Agreed. I mean I’m even guilty of picking fights and trolling other members at times. But it’s exactly that, just simply trolling.

However, to sit here and call out some guy on a serious personal struggle, RIDICULING him and acting how that other poster did? Is kind of fucked up. Something not right with that guy

The way he got very worked up over drug addiction makes me think his mom or dad were probably addicts, maybe a brother... Explains most of his issues that were brought out through all the butthurt he filled this thread with.

Hey Tank, been a while. Sorry to hear about the relapse my man, it’s a constant fight to stay clean and sometimes it’s a fight that wears you down and sucks that it won a battle but it’s your fucking war to win. You got your footing now so keep fucking moving forward man, you broke your fucking neck then 6 months later were one of the most jacked mother fuckers on this board. I know you got drive and I know you got more fight in you then most, hit me up anytime you wanna shoot the shit or want a different perspective of someone to talk to. Your honesty about the what has been going on is going to help you tremendously, secrets cause problems in relationships and recovery so keep it open with your homie. I know it’s pretty fruity but start your day making your bed and doing 30 minutes of yoga, it’s the first thing in your morning but if you disapline yourself to get out of bed in the first 5 seconds you wake up (count down from 5 then say blast off just like an astronaut about to launch then get out) and immediately turn around and make it. The yoga will help your lifting and also help release any stress from the night and help with the itch.

Chase pussy not the dragon ;)

Hey man. I am glad to see you are taking steps to get clean and back on your feet. I understand your struggle. I am a recovering opioid addict myself. The first time I got clean I did it myself; cold turkey. But when I relapsed and my use got much heavier, I was never able to kick the junk cold turkey after that; withdrawals were always too much for me and I always caved. I have been on an outpatient suboxone program for about 9 months now, and my taper is almost finished (down to almost nothing!), and man I am so excited to not have opioids or even a partial-agonist have any control over my life and how I feel anymore. Getting into treatment saved my life.

YOU GOT THIS MAN! I would have never been able to get clean and go through 8 months of treatment without a relapse if it weren't for the support of my wife, family, friends, and the gym. You have so much support here at Meso and you have friends like @wedorecover who obviously care for you deeply. We believe in you, truly. Keep focusing on the positive, leaning on your friends and community when you need to, and hitting the gym hard, and you will make it man. I don't know you well, but from what I have seen here at Meso and the dedication/work ethic I know you possess, I am confident you'll be back on your feet and free in no time. The pump is the cure!
