Here is another pole smoker that needs to be on your baseball hate list. I think Smoltz wants a walkout.

Mar 1 The Associated Press reports Atlanta Braves CL John Smoltz said Sunday, Feb. 29, MLB should adopt tougher steroid testing policies, saying the sport's integrity is at stake. Smoltz said he does not even understand the testing policy adopted as part of the collective bargaining agreement in 2002. "The more this becomes a monster, the more it plays into everybody's mind," Smoltz said. "There's a way they should do tests. Do them the way they should be done - not a platform that's just a smoke screen."

I love smoltz. I actually support strong testing against them. I hate that they have double standards. They can test positive etc. and not even worry about repercussions. If my kid ever grew up to be good enough to play I wouldn't want him to have to use AAS just to make the big leagues. I am torn on it in several ways but overall I like what smoltz said. I hate the fact that there are some really good minor leaguers and low rung major leagures that are held back b/c they choose to not use AAS. I just think that is unfair. Also, Look at the joke of a policy they have now. GO BRAVES LOL

Yeah but from what i hear is that the picthers AAS of choice is Whinny and that is out of your system fast and would be tough to catch and make it more of a pitchers game. Either way i like the game with or without AAS in it and it wouldnt bother me a bit if they let players use whatever whenever.

BTW: after losing over 1/2 of there best players i think the Braves are gona need some Juice .

Honestly, I don't feel bad for those that chose not to use AAS. Sure, it's against to rules to do so and can therefore be considered "cheating". However, if I were so inclined to give a fuck about baseball, which I'm not, then I would want the assload of money I spend to watch a game to be spent on the best possible game to watch possible.

If AAS can cause the game to be more exciting(more homers, faster pitches, etc.) then I want some juiced up mother fuckers to be playing.

It's sort of like BB. Who the hell wants to watch the "natural" compeitiors with their so-so physiques when there's true freaks walking around?
