HGH and cancer

I researched in the search bar before posting this and only really found post with “family history” in it.

I’m 29yo and I’ve ran GH at 4.5
In a day before which was amazing. Only ran it while I was on a growth phase (20 weeks).

My question/concern is my history of Leukemia. I don’t know if there is anyone else in the medical field or educated in this forum on this topic, but I thought I would ask. I have been cancer free for 22 years now, no relapse. I was wondering if it was safe in moderate dosages of GH to use (3-6iu) a day. My IGF on 4.5iu a day was 450. I didn’t really wanna push it further than that just to be safe.

I have done research and all I can find is studies on children who had cancer, and then was treated with HGH afterwards to try to make the children catch up on a growth chart to normal kids their age.

I know HGH can accelerate cancer cells to grow, but I didn’t know how it would work with cancers like leukemia. Tumorous cancers aren’t as a concern to me.

I’m a very healthy individual. I am a moderate PED dosage kinda guy, no test over 500-600 and all other drugs below that. Bloodwork done before, during and after every time I hop off trt and back onto a cycle. Never any health markers out of range besides cholesterol slightly elevated sometimes.

Sorry for the long post, thank you to anyone who actually reads this long ass message and replies lol my plan is to hop back on HGH 4iu a day probably for the next couple of years while I’m competing.

GH in itself does not directly cause cancer in the sense it gives you cancer. What it does is force cells to multiply which leads to cell death as they can only do this so many times. Exogenous HGH is anti-apoptotic and prevents the cell from being 'recycled' this means dead cells are floating around, this isn't good as part of the issue with cancer is the multiplication and bodies inability to kill the cancerous cell.

GH also isn't selective and causes growth indiscriminately so will grow cancer cells at a rapid rate.

It's your decision but personally I wouldn't risk it with a history of cancer

so are you saying that if we take too much gh it will actually cause muscle cells to die?

My understanding: the current belief is that GH supplementation does not CAUSE cancer, but it will help existing cells/tumors to grow. If I had a previous history of cancer, I would not touch it nor higher than TRT levels of Test.

Exactly what Oldghguy said, it will speed up the growth of cancerous cells/tumors. I wouldn't go anywhere near it if you have previously had cancer.

All cells die mate, you're thinking of it from an atrophy stand point I'd guess. GH in itself doesn't cause muscle growth it's the down stream effects of turning on growth pathways.

Cells divide, each cell has a maximum number of times it can divide, sometimes during the division cells can mutate. The ones the reach their max time are broken down and recycled let's say by the body. If they can't be that can be a cause of cancer.

please read the official medical notes from Genotropin for instance... Leukemia can be a side effect of GH use. But as far as i remember this has just been reported in children.

Wouldnt take the chance. Some big dude i think he was a pro actually just died from thyroid cancer. He was trying to spread the word about gh causing the cancer.
May I ask, why does one getting Thyroid cancer not just remove his thyroid and use T3?

Fuck I cant remember the guys name. It metastasized to viatal areas I think. He was massive and a pro I think from india. Dallas mccarver also had thyroid cancer tumor when he died.

The thyroid produces more than T3. And hormones typically have multiple roles in the body. So trying to micromanage what medicine and science does not fully understand may be less than optimal.

As for HGH and cancer if a bigger muscle is satisfying enough to take the risk then go fo it. But one will find no good data about the odds of what happens with HGH and cancer especially in those that are predisposed. In my opinion using chemo lowers the body's immune system and it probably never comes back as good as if they had never taken it and were always healthy. I have known people that had leukemia and years later ended up with a different form of cancer.

Worded another way: great results now vs. dying a little sooner or a lot sooner

*kinda grim, I know
What ever makes you feel better. Sooner could be decades though but probably not for most. We all make our choices. Some prefer not to know all the facts i find. And just want to hear what supports their desires.
