Hgh and Type 2 diabetes

So I am a type 2 diabetic but well controlled with diet and medication. A1C of 5.0 at last blood work and fasted blood glucose usually mid 80’s every morning. I would like to run 2iu gh daily for sleep, recovery, fat loss and general tissue healing taken at night before bed. Question is how risky is this? Since I’m well controlled am I at high risk by doing so? I’ve ran gh secretagogue peptides and saw no difference in blood glucose but only saw minimal benefits also which is why I’d like to try exogenous gh. Thanks for any input you might have

Nobody here is going to tell you to mess with hgh, even as a Type II diabetic.

Why not restrict your calories and see about getting off all diabetes medication?

I’m not asking anybody to tell me to mess with gh. I’m asking what the risk are as a type 2 diabetic. Someone who is better versed and more knowledgeable about the risk than I am. Which is what I thought this board is for is it not? And btw I’m on my way to getting off the meds already. Technically I could have already with my last 2 bloodwork results. If next blood tests have me in the same ranges he’s already told me we’re going to stop the meds. I’ve lost 60 lbs in the last 8 months through calorie restriction and lifestyle changes.

That's great news!

Alright, I am no expert on this, but if I were in your shoes, I would be hesitant to add the growth hormone right now. I would want to give this new, healthy, hormones are working again body a little time to settle in before messing with hormone levels (talking about insulin and growth hormone here).

Not an expert - just my two cents and what I would do if I were you.

But congrats on getting yourself healthy again. It must feel pretty good to know you did that where so many others fail.

Thank you and yes it feels great. It was a lot of hard work but totally worth it.

I can tell you what GH does to my insulin resistance as a type 1, you alone can decide how it may affect your as a type 2
I take 1iu of pharma gh at bedtime. Without insulin, this shoots my blood up from (4 to 12 UK scale multiply by 18 for USA ) within 2 hrs. So I take 5iu of fast-acting insulin to counteract it and works well.
My long-acting insulin has been increased by 10% because of the insulin resistance change. People will tell you it's out of your system in approx 4 hrs but the evidence I see with my meter is it still affects IR.
