HGH Reconstitution

Sorry for asking such a simple question but I'm trying to get to the bottom of a problem.

It looks like someone in the Peptide community may have received HGH instead of AOD. There is a lot of resistance from the company they bought it from because they haven't had problems like this before, and they don't sell HGH. If this customer is right then the manufacturer the company bought from made a big mistake. To their credit, they appear to have pulled the questionable AOD.

It's very likely that additional testing will be done, but in the meantime I have a question so simple it probably didn't warrant a preface this long:

How does HGH reconstitute? Does it gel like AOD?
Your input would be appreciated a great deal.

Thanks! Really appreciate your help!

Peptides that gel are no longer the proper monomer form, but link together forming aggregates called fibrils. When it spreads causing the entire vial to gel, they're known as "Self assembling peptides", and can cause other proteins to do the same.

When scientists refer to plaques found in the brains of people who have neurodegenerative diseases, it's the product of this peptide gelling process that they're talking about, which starts for unknown reasons, and spreads around the brain over many years.

One theory is that somewhere along the line, a self assembling peptide is introduced into the body, initiating this process.

Here are fibrils formed by putting GLP-1 peptides through extreme conditions that wouldn't normally occur.

Interesting theory. I take it you're not a fan of AOD or Cagrilinitide then?

I'm not a fan of knowingly injecting aggregates, no.

If UGL cagri is doing the same, something is seriously wrong, because there's no way the stuff being used in the trials is gelling.

It's not to my knowledge but there is a group of people in the Peptide forums (who in my opinion don't respect existing literature on the subject) who are convinced that any Cagri not produced by Novo Nordisk is extremely fragile and prone to fibril formation. This completely ignores the fact that Cagri was designed to resist fibril formation and they tried 800 different compounds until they found one they liked. They also tested it's propensity to form fibrils and it took about 45 hours in a centrifuge at suboptimal temp and pH. There are people who think Cagri might be exposed to a similar level of stress during lyophilization, or if jostled while on the truck from the warehouse. I'm not convinced.

When you say HGH fragment do you mean Somatotropin? I'm not expert, but that's what the Jano test said was inside the vial that was supposed to be AOD.
Hey mate,

No HGH Fragment is different to Human Growth Hormone.

HGh Fragment 176-191 is a synthetic peptide segment of the C-terminus. So, it is a synthetic amino acid sequence that mimics the hGH sequence from positions 177 to 191.

Human growth hormone (hGH), is a 191-amino acid peptide hormone that is secreted by the anterior pituitary gland that stimulates longitudinal bone growth and tissue expansion.

I took these from a website I hope this explains it for you.

In basic terms HGH Fragment only includes the amino acids from 177-191 which target fat loss.

HGH has the full amino chain.

Cheers
JAC
