34 years old. Blasted and cruised when I was younger. Took a ton of stuff. Last few years I only do trt 160 mgs. 2 months ago got blood work and my hematocrit was 54. So I donated blood. In the mean time I started HCG as well. Just got blood work again and it's now 57! The highest it's ever been on my whole life even higher than when I was blasting. I thought I was hydrated enough. I did test early morning after doing yard work for an hour or two but not sure if that matters. Worried I'm gonna drop dead.

Most likely mild dehydration from the yard work, if worried you can donate again. I know in Canada they make you wait 56 days between donations. No need to stress, you won’t drop dead. How’s the blood pressure?

Blood pressure is good but I am on BP meds. I might really focus on hydrating the next few days and get blood work on Friday. If too high then I'll donate again.

Makes sense, my guess is hydrating well should show improved numbers. Grapefruit juice has also been shown to be helpful in lowering hematocrit.

It’s an enigma to most of us, I’ve been battling high rbc, h and h constantly. I even donate 2-4 times a year, I tried enarapril, ip6, grapefruit seed extract, nattokinaise and naringin. It works sometimes goes back to normal but will slowly creep up again.

The best numbers I ever had came when I was lean and doing an hour cardio every day.

Dumb question but I've been taking beef organ vitamins. Could that raise it as well?

160mg plus HCG is a lot.

What are your following numbers on 160mg and HCG?

estradiol
testosterone total
testosterone free

Taking anything else? AI?

I know we all want to be Samson Dauda, but maybe you should think about lowering your dosage significantly.

Older you get the worse it gets for some predisposed to secondary erythrocytosis. Sorry Brother.

Aspirin, nattokinase, etc if you dont want to drop the dose.

890 on the trough last time I get tested. E2 was in the low 40s and no ai

You are not going to want to hear this, but I am going to say it.

Lower the dose.

I do not know your injection frequency or anything like that, but 890 at the trough is higher than the 95th percentile of peak measurements taken in the morning for natties.

Imagine what your levels must be at the peak.

Note the midrange there is 531, and that includes 19 year old teenagers in the population group.

You are not even getting down there at the trough.

Your estradiol is maxing out the normal range (10- 40, you are over)

Give your body, your cardiovascular system, and your red blood cell production machinery, a rest.

Lower the dose.

Lower it a bunch.

Funny thing is my Dr said I could up my dose haha.

I gave up preaching about this. Good for you. Well done.

Plan is to retest on Friday actually making sure if hydrated. If still high what should I drop it to? 120mgs?

120 is closer to actual trt. 160 is a very small blast. High rbc on blast is a manageable short term side, not so much for a long term trt side.

Google Xyosted. Overpriced product sure. But there is a reason it comes in three flavors (50/75/100 mg injection).

Do I run TRT at 80 mg/week? No.

Should I? Yeah, probably.

I ran 75 mg a week for about two years (no cycles, just 75mg a week).

Everything was fine. Sexual function, workouts, and so on. I lowered it because of blood pressure. The only thing that worked with respect to blood pressure was lowering my bodyweight, but running 75mg a week of testosterone did not lower my bodyweight like I thought it would. My body wanted to hold on to the muscle that I spent so many decades dedicated to building.

I did end up increasing the weekly amount, mainly because my estradiol was single digits. I am lean and do not convert a lot of testosterone into E2, so your mileage may vary. My regular doctor suggested I raise the amount of testosterone as well, as she thought that 75mg and the resulting estradiol number was too low. And she is the one treating my blood pressure issue.
