High SHBG on Test

Hey there, my Natty Testosterone Values were:

Total Test: 599ng/dl
SHBG: 58.8nmol/l

The Bloodwork is after 4,5weeks - 250mg Testosterone E.
I still have pretty high SHBG. What are your thoughts? Should i check out my thyroid?
I had done a lot of regular bloodwork where everything was normal, im 20, around 13% bodyfat.
My diet contains all macros and stuff as someone assumed that i might be eating carnivore.

Additionally: Is it very uncommon to have such a rather "low total test" on 250mg a week? Its described testosterone from the pharmacy so its 100% real. Im wondering if the subq injection is just inferior which is why i switch to IM now.

Low carb and calorie deficit typically increases SHBG. That’s most likely it.
You should however check your thyroid as well, as that’s an important aspect that we should all be keeping track of.
1350 total test on 250mg is not low.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. If you plan to blast and cruise or use orals or push food up, your SHBG will drop anyway. Sometimes too low, and once it’s low it’s a lot harder to bring it up into range than it is to lower it.

No it’s not abnormal at all. I get a similar response. It’s doesn’t say much about your actual response to the test though. You can have higher androgen receptor sensitivity or better downstream responsiveness. Believe me, I have seen cases of friends who have insane test levels on 250mgml but have very poor response in the gym and a lot more side effects. The opposite is also true, relatively low test levels and great response. Don’t overthink it. Your test levels don’t equal results or response. They are to be used as your personal benchmarks to compare against your own data.

Yeah I’m on 250mg now. Total test is 1000 but free is 300. So total is upper range and free is way above upper range. Because my SHBG is 15. Like you said it’s all kind of relative.
I think it does play a role in estrogen management though
Copied from AI..
“Low SHBG → Less binding capacity for E2 → Higher percentage of total E2 is free/unbound → Higher free E2 at the same total E2 level.
This can lead to stronger estrogenic effects”
“High SHBG → More binding capacity for E2 → Lower percentage of total E2 is free/unbound → Lower free E2 at the same total E2 level.
This can result in reduced estrogenic activity or symptoms resembling relative estrogen deficiency”
