hitting a nerve

Ok so I'm on my 6th week on first cycle and i've been usually hitting the outmost area of my ass like almost a hip shot switching between left and right and have had no problems whatsoever except the first time on either side was just sore longer than others. On saturday I did my left side and when I pushed the needle in it actually gave me a little pain more so then other times and this pain wasn't excrutiating or anything just more of a pinch than normal. Now its tuesday and it hurts like a motherfucker still, no redness, site looks completely normal except it feels like a small knot like i got punched in the side. I use 23g 1.5 inch and it was in all the way so its not like I didn't inject deep enough. A little more blood than usual after pulling out maybe went through a vein? I was wondering if it was possible that I went through or hit a nerve because I did notice thatit felt a little differen't going in. Any ideas? I think I'm going to start doing it more on the glute instead of the outside hip muscle.

strange mate i had my 3rd jab last night and i had the exact same thing! but there was quite a bit of blood, i put that down the the jump i did when it went, no pain today tho hopefully i wont get any first 2 shots i had pain for like 4 days after!

u hit something on the way in bros...if u do this long enough, that happens...My quads always get jumpy when i do those shots....delts and glute shots are smoother....

If you would have hit a nerve.....would you have known it! I've done it once before and I nearly jumped through the frickin' roof. From that injection on....I penetrate the needle very slowly. If I start to feel an inkling of pain or have any muscle twitching/spasms then I know I need to rejab.

I think I figured out I just went through a vein because I realize the only pain I got was right near the surface and no real pain while deep and then as I pulled the needle out after finishing a tiny bit of blood went into the needle back near the surface.

yes, u will go through the roof....but when i poke my quads, im probably hitting small nerve endings or more sensitive areas which causes my leg to really twitch....as well as hitting veins or whatever......im just saying that twitching and jumping does happen and its not as serious...but youre right, u dont wanna hit a nerve like u did..

Ditto what he said!

It's not uncommon to get a lump after a test injection, hell, I get pain and lumps after each injection I have. I just learn to live with it!

As for hitting a nerve, you'll know if you do so. I did a glute injection the day and upon hitting a nerve it felt like electricity was flowing through my right leg, no shit!

If the lump is there for any longer than a week, it's more than likely an abscess. You'd wanna go get that shit drained out. Just my 0.2cents.
