Just a warning in advanced to my fellow meatheads - ordered a basket of raws from HK Lemite Bio :

So far tried to brew all of the Testosterone esters. All failed melting point test at first, now all failed solvent test (in BB @25C). I'll add more detail in the next post and will get further testing to see what they're slinging around. All the typical BS promises were made -
but radio silence after rep admitted she thought the purchase was for oral use.

Deep down inside..... there is a little @janoshik in all of us.

Jokes aside - I perform simple melting point tests before going further with expensive tests. I went as far as 110C (upper region for esterified hormones) and saw 0 change in phase.
There is a harm-prevention group nearby (with university partnerships) that do HPLC/GCMS testing in rounds - ill touch base with them.
I'll get some colorimetric test kits for fun too - really curious to see what the substitution is.
