Hmb

I know this supplement never lived up to the hype from bullshit-artists like those scammers over at EAS, but I wonder whether it's totally worthless or whether there's actually some benefit to using it. The research looks interesting.

Has anyone used it? What's your opinion: totally useless, somewhat effective but not worth the money, or cost-effective?

Bryan Haycock wrote an article about HMB. For some reason I cant find it and the one link that I did find wouldnt work. I dont remember the specifics, but in general he said that 1) HMB obviously doesnt live up to the original hype, but 2) HMB does have some use in a couple situations. I dont remember what those situations are. If you can log in at his board, do a search for hmb and Im sure youll find his opinion.

Not worth the money.....However, I'm betting that like many supps, the quantity you need to take to make it effective is cost prohibitive. Case in point, CLA became the rage once the dosage was bumped up into the 16-20G/day range. Although that's been backed down a bit now.

It is also know to cause prostate problems. Not worth the risk. I took it a while back and didnt notice anything extra from it.

Good ole Bill Philips,,,what ever happened to that fucker?

He sold EAS and Muscle Media for, IIRC, around $100 million. Shortly thereafter Muscle Media was closed down and the supp company is lagging. Bill might be considered a sell-out piece of crap, but there is no doubt that he was an expert marketer and did extremely well running both companies.

"I swear, its just like Deca!" Heheheh....very true, a hell of a sales man. I wonder how much $$ he has left?

Bill Phillips....motha-f..ker:mad: He should owe me and alot of others a buttload of $$$ for his B.S. products. With the amt. of $ I spent on his shit, do you know how much AAS I could have gotten?!
Oh, I almost forgot about your question.....HMB is useless.
