Home lab setup (need rating)

Ok so I'm setting up a small home lab/clean area.

My equipment is as follows:

Room is filtered by a HEPA and charcoal panel.

Ac duct will be routed through an ac infinity air box with merv/fpr 10 filter. Output pointed towards HEPA filter unit.

Workbench will have a horizontal laminar flow hood filtered with a HEPA filter.

I'm not filling or cleaning open vials. Presealed/sterilized vials only.

Only reason I'm going this far is because of the need to vent the vials while heating and/or filling.


Any ideas, comments, or suggestions?

I mean maybe but not so sure. This is not a dedicated room so it's 'lived in' and used. It's carpeted.

Perhaps it is excessive but it also allows me more flexibility I would think if I ever wanted to move to open vials.

If I had the money and space I would buy a large grow tent and use that as a fully enclosed clean room lol.

I suppose I could get away with just the flow hood though. But each HEPA alone doesn't get all the nastys floating in the air. I'm hoping a combined effort will.

If you want to move to open vials research terminal heat sterilization. That will short out all your problems.

I have looked into autoclaves and might be something I get. But I really don't ever see myself not using pre-sterilized vials because I don't need a lot of volume. Just me. And I only really do trt. And actually even then it's just a backup oil and/or when I decide to blast.

This is also turning into a hobby thing too lol. So more like getting this stuff for fun and to do it as safe as possible.

It's always your decision, but if it's really just going to be for your own use and you apply TRT dosages? I wouldn't even think twice about buying a pharmacy test. It makes no sense to invest and put so much effort to use 100mg test per week.

Oh I already am prescribed but this will be for when I'm ready to blast. Or if I run out of pharma and can't get some for a bit.
