Homemade Mass Shake

For those bro's that are looking for a great tasting mass shake here is one to try out!
I've been mixing the following in my blender:

12-14 OZ 2% or skim milk
2 tbsp peanut butter
1 large banana
3 scoops of favorite protein powder
5-6 vanilla wafers
1 cup oatmeal
few ice cubes

hit the "blend' button and wait about 45 seconds, if its too thick add some more milk or water to the mix, but you get over 65 G of protein with this mix.

It tastes great!

I think we should have more posts about shakes and recipes to help get big. We have so many people posting about the juice they want or the juice they are getting, they never post about what they do to get the results. Let's spend a little more time like our man eatnphood and get things rolling. holla bizzel

Great shake but the NIlla wafers?

I'm telling you guyz these shakes are GOOD!

I even got my girl to try this one last night, and she loved it! She actually said that if they sold it in the store that people would buy it! (maybe she was just being nice??)

The vanilla wafers add a bit of vanilla taste to the shake itself, I know it sounds wierd, but mix it up and try it out yourself,

If you skip the peanut butter it will be less thick.

It doesn;t give the bloat the other mass shakes give, plus it has just as many calories, and protein..

I am hooked on these things, just had one on my way to work thismorning,

Add these into any cycle in the morning and after workout and your gonna grow big time!

looks tasty and nice. Just one question though. You say , the outcome is 65 grms of protein. But how many grms of protein does your "....3 scoops of protein" contains ?

See if they have like 40 to 50 grms by them selfs , then we are just adding extra calories on it ! right??

My protein that I used has 18G of protein per scoop, so 3 scoops is 54 Grams plus the 10G of protein from the oatmeal is around 64 Grams, if you really want to count the protein from the milk also, but I didn't. I will have to get the exact protein/carbs/fat

So your's might be different if your servings are different...

sounds

yummy bro, just jotted down the recipe and will try it tonight.

just one question...is the oatmeal cooked or just out of the box ?

Gettin big Protein!

Bro, that shake is makin me hungry just hearin about it!!
Nice job!
I agree, More about ptotein shakes!! I've been living on them for a long time.

Yea this shake is a decent way to add extra calories, I have been using them mainly in the AM and also after workouts.
But I guess you could find some of your own ingredients I guess as long as they had protein, how about a tuna shake?? Na, better just stick to this one...

Actually a really good one is brown rice and wholemeal pasta with tuna and some tomato pasta sauce. Blend it up with water while the rice and pasta are hot and it tastes like very thick soup

Not to bust your balls, but don't you think this should've been posted in the "Nutrition" area?

HC210

Definately not a ball busting comment but there have been some really good recepies in the nutrition section for this type of thing. . . . .

OPPS! everyone is correct!
I should have been more watchful of where I was posting this thread, maybe one of the mods can move it over there?

Also the oatmeal is uncooked I never had any problems using uncooked

I have made these type protein drinks in the past. They are good, but instead of vanilla wafers,I used vanilla ice cream.Yuuummm!! :p
