a friend of mine is has had a shift change and is at the end of her tether stuggling to get a good amount of sleep, i suggested 5htp as its helped me previously.
was just wondering if anyone had any better ideas, ive had melatonin in the past which worked amazingly but when i look for it now it all seems to be labelled as natural forms of melatonin like 5htp (no clue if its actually "natural" ) im failry sure the ones i got from a friend wernt available in the uk and were a purer form of the drug

any advice is much appreciated

A good sleep supp was all I ever needed when bouts of sleeplessness hit me.

Fade Out by RedCon works great and I didn’t seem to form a habit. Should be available in the UK? Some vendors are doing injectable sleep aids now, but start slow.

Redcon is good and also rich pianas knock the fuck out.

Has she just considered using Benadryl? It’s never let me down when I needed to fall asleep and isn’t habit forming.

Combine GABA, Melatonin, Magnesium Citrate and Doxylamine succinate all 30 minutes before bed. It's a multi-tier approach covering most of the things that prevent falling asleep and staying asleep.

I use this myself and have recommended it to many people that have experienced success with it.

i suggested benadryl to her thanks, thanks for the other recommendations guys ill look into availability in the uk for her, im not certain but i think melatonin is prescription only here. she seemed to think she wouldn't be able to get it from her g.p as her shift change is a temporary thing. ill check out the other items

if rx means prescription only then i think so yes as all the supps listed in the uk seem to word it as "naturally increases melatonin" or similar and contain 5htp and magnesium etc unless im reading it wrong

I’ve had life long sleep problems the only thing I’m 100% sure you should not do is get dependent on Ambien. I’ve been taking 10mgs a night for almost 15yrs. It’s a double edged sword for me, I’ve tried to go without it but I won’t sleep a single second without it.
