anything from muslim countries is bad news. that applies to:
pakistan, iran, iraq, syria, saudi arabia, jordan, lebanon, and egypt. ( i may have left a few out not sure though)
turkey, while predominantly muslim, is an ally and so its not watched as much.
however, with the latest problems turkey has had with terrorists i'm not so sure how the u.s feels about packages from there.
china is not as strictly watched as the middle east but watched nonetheless along with india and thailand.

it most certainly gets watched for drug smuggling along with china and india.
