Hot Flashes

It is my understanding that if you are getting hot flashes from low T or High E2 you go along feeling ok then you get a flush and start sweating and then that stops and you are back to normal. Am I right?

With me I am just constantly hot. Now I am thinking thathis is from too high Thyroid meds. I am trying to determine what is what. Any comments from experience?

My guess...

Is you are correct. When I've had hot flashes, they've just came and went suddenly

Everyone I've ever talked to who had "flashes" from TRT experience transient and short lived spells.

As I understand it, thyroid meds do affect body temp (in fact some bber's use body temp as a way to determine how much T3 to use). So, it would seem reasonable that too much thyroid meds could elevate your temp.

Personally, I would take my temp in the morning upon waking, in the middle of your day and at night before bed...just to make sure.

One thing I was just thinking....when you are running a fever when sick you often feel cold. Some who have lower than normal body temps tend to feel warm. Just some food for thought.
