Hotplate/ Stirrer

What you fella brewers think of the following:

SH-3 Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrer Mixer Stirring Laboratory 3000ml Dual Control 842708733169 | eBay

It supposedly goes up to 350degC.

It looks like it will serve most intermediate brewing needs?

This and similar models with different names are available everywhere. Pretty good unless you need to dial a very specific temp in which case you need to "learn" your heat dial on it.

For what it's worth I have used the same/similar one. Solid unit especially for the price.

I got one on Amazon for like 30 bucks . The heat is either on or off. So you'd have to watch the temps... But it works.

@Holidaypay to answer question the accessory hose will draw a constant vacuum but will eventually shut off. you'll also have to slip a hose on to it and probably make adapter to increase hose size from sealer to filter. I bought the wal world version on clearance with a fucks ton of bag rolls for 40USD, easily worth 100 or more. might see if they have it in stock local if you haven't ordered.

Thanks the one I got the hose wasn't very strong but I ended up ordering a medical vacuum made for filtering it was like 40 bucks on Amazon next step is a buchner filter setup so all I will have to do is sterilize an add filter

Going with a 47mm membrane setup?

You can get the whole set ups for less than $100 from US company if you look or I can hint you when the time is closer. PTFE filters are less than 1 dollar and will filter a few hundred ml oil. Even more water. I'm looking for raws still, ST just email so I'll review their prices but looks like them or DO.
