How Do You Buy Bitcoins And Then Transfer Them??

how do you do it? Maybe I'm just retarded but I don't understand this at all. Does anyone know where I'd buy bitcoins and how I'd transfer them?

It's actually not really hard to do at all. I learned how to do it from reading on this site. @pumpingiron22 has lots of info on here about it. Basically go sign up at coinbase or circle, once you get yourself squared away on there, you can buy bitcoin. You can also spend it directly from there or transfer it to another wallet before you spend it.

make damn sure you don't lose/forget the passwords to you bitcoin wallets!!

Yeah I went to circle and everything was going well, but because I don't have a credit card nor a bank account, I don't have a debit Visa card. Thus I went to buy a pre-paid and got fucked on some fraud b.s. Essentially I'm out a bunch of cash, and im running dangerously low on gear lol what a situation haha

The only other way that I know of is to buy bitcoins from an individual and have them transfer them into your wallet. Search for local bitcoins, there is a website for it. I would have liked to do it that way, much more anonymous IMO, but there wasn't anyone close enough to me to do it (I'd want to do it face to face and watch the transaction go through on my phone). Why no bank acct though?? Are you in U.S.? if you are over 18, you just walk in, hand over your license/id and answer a couple questions. Savings acct I used has $5min balance so it's not like you need a fortune to get it started.

Shoot you in a bad situation it took me less than 24 hours
to get set up and coins in the wallet.

Buy you coins as stated above then when you make the transfer set the amount up. Then put in your bitchain or dark wallet adress and then push transfer coins should transfer in to your other wallet in a hour or so.

Just wanted to add that it may take a few hours to do the transfer. At least the transfer from coinbase to the blockchain wallet. coin base gives you like a dollar worth of bitcoin when you join and I used that as a test to transfer to blockchain and it took close to 4 hrs to go through.

I think I read that very small transactions like that might take longer, but just a heads up anyway. We all know how impatient some people can get.

PI, Does coinbase accept prepaid cc's? If not what is the safest way in your opinion to fund your coinbase account to buy bitcoins?

no coinbase does not. only accepts bank routing info. I chose to go with coincafe it required no bank or credit card info only needed a few picture of driver licencse. transfer of cash only takes 1 day thru a Bank of America branch.

Sounds like a better option but either way you have to give up personal info which I'm guessing is the reason for the need to have a blockchain or other dark wallet to transfer them to.

Yes, either way you are giving up personal information. I figured it is about 50/50 so I went with coinbase. Yes @Masters Power that is why you would want to transfer them to a different wallet.

I was going to ask the same thing. I thought Dr. Jim said somewhere on here that you could use a PPdebtcard. I may be wrong.

Is it safe to fund the coinbase wallet and manage the blockchain wallet from the same IP address? I have a tor server with the same gateway for all clients. I'm thinking I should go around it for coinbase operations.

I have the same question. Hopefully PI will be able to provide an answer.

Not sure on this, hopefully PI can chime in. Although I have a question for you. Do you ever have trouble logging into blockchain wallet using tor browser? 9 times out of 10 I cannot log into it while on tor because it says that the IP is blocked. Sometimes I have to log in w/ out tor, which I don't like to do.

I haven't been doing this that long, but I've only gotten the IP blocked error a couple of times.
